  1. who was it who said the collar looked like a arsehole? got me real good
  2. Can't help myself: Resize dickweed. /Ronaldo How low is your resolution if you need that resized? i don't, but then i never complain about resizing either
  3. Guess so. Not sure anyone had any anyways though. Still would question the timing and intent. But he appears to be aiming for a positive investment this summer so we'll see. Then again he did the same summer we sold Milner so who knows?

  5. I'm calling it tbh - Kasper this is legendary but don't fall into the trap of dragging it out for the sake of it! End at the top like Blackadder. Don't bow to peer pressure and become another Only Fools and Horses! If the material is there go with it, don''t force it! The Sholas Goal Celebration is without doubt the best thing I've seen on the Internet. Stat. Well played.
  6. WTF was that statement all about anyways? What a waste of everyone's fucking time.
  7. Africans tell fibs, it's what they do best. And here you are lying about Obafemi Martins losing his pace, the irony. Been to Africa much, out of interest?
  8. Neither Shearer or Ferdinand were on a downward spiral at all at the point when we signed them. Quite true, esp in Shearer's case ; he was only 25 when he joined NUFC in 1996. Ferdinand was 28, so he was at his peak. but technically, as they were human beings and getting older they were on a downward spiral so you're wrong [/ronaldo]
  9. saddest thing is as a club we seem utterly unable to sign players (on the whole) who retain value in the market - it's been a problem for many, many years now - well before ashley came along either too high a fee paid, too high wages (or both), or suspect temperaments/medical fragility until we rectify that we'll always struggle now freddy's not throwing borrowed money into signings
  10. The size of the image was a pictorial representation of the depth of my despair And I don't know how.
  11. if they harbour any hopes whatsoever of winning the league they'd better not do that
  12. That's a lot of money to turn down, if true. what's Wenger gonna do with 50m though? who's he gonna buy?...alls he ever seems to do is spunk his cash on more unprovens maybe if he went for someone like derossi at roma or something, i dunno...who else could he get in the position he needs? realistically wengers on the verge of properly losing it as it is, 50m and no fabregas might just break him
  13. fuck me, controlling the champions league draw too! the reach is indeed long
  14. I say this without any malice, but make the most of the Champions League nights you have this season. Seems like a lifetime ago that we were playing there. Walking to your seat with the CL logo covering the centre circle, the music, the different advertising hoardings... it was fantastic and I enjoyed every one of the nights we had and almost took them for granted. A few years later we're playing Scunthorpe away on a Tuesday night. Success comes and goes and I honestly can't see Spurs finishing in the Top 4 again for a good few years to come. Enjoy the games. so true man, so true...loved the away games and all - away games in Europe, fantastic
  15. That's a lot of money to turn down, if true. Aye, I'd accept that. Sure its Fabregas, but thats money that you can rebuild a team with, especially when you've got Jack Wilshire and Ramsay coming through as replacements. hasn't he been snapped in two? might be a reason wenger is being so reticent - if this lad was fit and ready to step in then the deal might be done already
  16. Potentially, especially with Abidal getting on (although he often plays CB) and Evra liable to be sacked off after his summer antics. Be a poor move though as Zog is atrocious at LB. You would imagine Gaël Clichy would be above CNZ for the LB slot. fuckin right...only an absolute idiot would put insomnia LB ahead of clichy
  17. Counting wages, should be approaching 15 million pounds now. http://img.wallpaperstock.net:81/man-in-despair-wallpapers_9214_1680x1050.jpg
  18. i'm in a canny mood today, someone remind me how much we paid for smith so i can be in total and utter despair again please...
  19. Cleverley then, seriously: has anyone seen him play enough to know what he's like? Lot's of talk about him but what's the advantage of him over, say, Darron Gibson or whoever else many might have? Or going to Man City, Chelski or Arsenal and picking up a young midfielder from them. Just wondering.
  20. be good for the lad, had a rest this summer at the world cup from what i could tell
  21. how times change, used to be "some bloke down the pub" So true! he could have been sat in the Pub on his laptop tho, using free wifi! some bloke in a pub said some bloke on Twitter said.... double jeopardy ITK!
