I'm fairly certain I saw an article where they were crowned the least liked English club in the world.
  2. Most well known modern buildings in the Middle East have architects from outside the Middle East designing them. Norman Foster is a key architect over there. Isn’t Norman Foster the bloke who spotted Perez? Wooster, no?
  3. Player on the winning team I'd guess. If it's a draw then obviously a fight to the death.
  4. What a wanker. First we find out Piers Morgan is a sex offender and now Haydn is a liar. What next? Hads on, Haydn's a liar. And also I learnt earlier on that buyers are liars. Could it be?
  5. I don't know what shape you're in, but assuming you're just in average shape and have the football skills of your average joe who kicks the ball about every now and then, either with mates or in an amateur league, then no chance. None whatsoever. Was a show on over here about a guy who wanted to check just how "hard it could be" to be a professional at different sports, and he was in fairly decent shape. He got to train with Rosenborg for a month and got to play up front in a friendly against a team in the division below - he had no chance. None whatsoever. Barely touched the ball. I imagine in the PL, where the talent of players is probably ten or even twenty times that of Rosenborg... no chance. No way. I thought far too long about this stupid scenario Only sport the guy stood any chance in vs pros was Curling, FWIW

The sudden unprompted gay bashing caught me off guard
  7. My only issue tonight is the fact we persevere with Joselu over Mitro, don’t think it’d have changed the scoreline drastically but it’s the only thing that really makes me angry.
  8. My hometown team(s) are in the 4th tier in Norway. Never bother going to watch their games when I'm back home. However I do know I would bother if they were in the 1st tier, and if they ever faced Rosenborg in said 1st tier I'd probably be sat in the home section rather than the away section. I'm part of the problem Since being founded in 1904, Mo IL has never been in the top tier though, so not a conundrum I'd have to face anytime soon, at least. Not been in the 2nd tier in my lifetime either, I think. Last match I attended was when the club almost got promoted to the 2nd tier but was denied by an equalizing goal in the 94th minute that should have been disallowed for offside. The ref got jumped after the game. Not a good time.

They sacked him over 10 years ago mind. I'm starting to wonder if I've been in some kind of come since around 2005 tbh Wait, 2005 is not three years ago?
  10. Burnley averaged 13k before promotion, 19k after promotion, 15k after relegation and 20k after promotion again, for instance. Feel like this is backing my argument, as when the teams are in the "big league" more people will be like "guess I gotta support them as well now" and then fuck that shit off when they go back down the leagues.
  11. Successful clubs will always have a higher catchment rate in their local areas. Fairly self explanatory how the younger people gravitate towards to the clubs they hear about, talk about at school and see play on TV all the time. Think it's fairly common to follow your most local lower-league side at the same time as supporting a team in the top division. Fairly self explanatory how the younger people gravitate towards to the clubs they hear about, talk about at school and see play on TV all the time. Then how do any of the London clubs function? The London clubs outside of Arsenal, Chelsea and more recently Spurs seem to do okay supporter wise with a much more conjested area, more questionnable history and 3 similarly successful clubs. Just quickly went over average attendances, seems like the % of empty seats seem quite similar between North West teams and London teams - with massive fluctuations between PL seasons and CH seasons. Crystal Palace for instance pulled 10k more on average in their first season back in the PL. Blackburn and Bolton dropped a similar amount first season after relegation.

He's not a very good manager. I'm not sure what level he's on however, so he might get them to safety - but won't have them challenge at the top anytime soon. Just happy they have a shit person as their manager. Never was comfortable disliking the Mick.

  15. If we got invited to stink out the place I would approve of this tournament.
  16. Dinho Lad for Worst Poster 2017. I am Kaizero and I approve this message.
  17. I don't mind the idea, but it would basically be the Europa League version of the World Cup. Can't see how motivated the participating teams would be, which would be a downer.
  18. Arsenal 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur Bournemouth 2-0 Huddersfield Town Burnley 1-0 Swansea City Crystal Palace 0-0 Everton Leicester City 1-4 Manchester City Liverpool 3-0 Southampton West Bromwich Albion 0-2 Chelsea Manchester Utd 1-1 Newcastle United Watford 3-0 West Ham United Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 Stoke City
  19. Yes and no. Morocco and Tunisia both have more appereances at the WC than Cote d'Ivoire and Ghana, so by that logic their non-appereance would be more wild.
  20. What a Lew-Who, Za-Her. I applaud that reference.
