Fuck off Harrisburg City Islanders. Fuck straight back to wherever the fuck you're from. And fuck off most of all New York fucking Red Bulls.

Bit harder for people from shit nations to choose, as Newcastle winning the League Cup would happen 999 out of 1000 times before the 1 in 1000th time Norway would win the World Cup. Still would go Newcastle winning the League Cup, though. In that case you're right. Was more surprised to see people saying they wouldn't be happy with the Carling Cup because it's "just the Carling Cup". I think it's more in comparison to their nation winning the WC, as the League Cup isn't really a tournament most clubs or fans take all that serious. While the World Cup is, well, the World Cup.

Klinsmann is shit when it comes to tactics. The "mastermind" was Löw. Klinsmann was only the "motivator". I think the difference between Beckham and Klinsmann is that the later got away from german football for a few years, coached in the US (where he learned about new training-methods) and then came back. International management is mostly about keeping the players motivated, though. You have such a short period of time to work with the players, motivation plays a much bigger part than tactics for "good" sides. Though it's the contrary for "lesser" sides. I agree with you, as soon as it comes to the tournament. But you have to qualify for that, too. That's where you need tactics as well. More than motivation. Yeah, which is why both a great tactician and motivator is needed. Capello is just one of the two, which is why it was bound to happen that England failed at the WC.

Just realised it said League Cup and not League. Now I'm a bit uncertain. League Cup is a Mickey Mouse trophy tbh.

Klinsmann worked for Germany, Bilic for Croatia. Then again those two are probably on a completely different level tactical brain wise than Beckham. But appointing young (manager terms, not player) recent players have a decent track record in International management so far.

Could be sorted with "Your country win the World Cup" instead of the current. btw.

Beckham already being massively touted (or at least it seems like that over here with our medias Anglophile views) as your next manager. As much as I am aware just the general idea of Beckham managing England sounding completely bonkers, I think that might work for you for some reason.

Everybody who have watched Spain this WC.

Villa. Sexy beast. Barca will be surreal to watch quality-wise next season.

edit AND SOMEONE RESIZE THAT FUCKING PIC Or you go get a bigger monitor.

I forgot to change things around after the group stages, so I'm fucked.

Completed passes, assists, general play has been really good overall. You can't judge a footballer just by goals.

Set the odds WELL high for obvious favourites and let us know where you are working.

Always said Capello is a world class club manager, but would never succeed as an International one due to the way he interacts with his players and how he is very stubborn. It just doesn't work over such a short period as a World Cup. Same goes with Mourinho, I have big doubts he'd manage to do well as an International manager due to his managing style. All that said, though. The issue with England this year is clearly the players. Not just the manager. You can't turn a pile of shit into a pile of diamonds no matter how qualified people you get to try.

My thoughts exactly.

Fuck it. £50 on Brazil -1 at 2.55

They saw it. What they're meant to show at the stadium is just a real time replay of the goal, but there was human error and the slow motion replay WITH offside graphics were shown instead, which is why the Mexicans went absolutely mental after looking like getting ready to kick-off.
-
Not exactly goal-line technology, but video reffing related. It was a bit shocking watching the Argies first goal and they showed the offside with graphics replayed at the stadium. Imagine if the ref after seeing it, went "that wasn't a goal, restart from the keeper. My bad." how much things might have changed for the argument of said technology being implemented?

You must be fucked off Am a bit, yeah. Had the same, only with £40. Was fucking fuming at the end there, now Chile better beat Brazil so I'd have lost regardless.

Should just merge it after the game is over. QFT
