Colback >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Sissoko, he'd walk into the France team. The ginger Zizou, face on the arc de triomphe. That segment was fucking painful.

fuck the world

This is one i'm happy about as long as they buy him at some point, he's injured all the time and when he was fit he was a horrible defender.

Sean Dyche makes me feel ill

To wait for 6 months and risk relegation for Steve McClaren would be one of the most stupid decisions I've witnessed at the club.
-
If it's us holding this up(maybe we want to interview Roy Evans) then he's going to say forget it and move on eventually. We've made a pigs arse out of this already IMO.

I'm not having people playing fast and loose with twitter hashtag campaigns. Je suis disgusted!

Fuck waiting until the summer, even if we stay up think of the millions we would lose by the inevitable slide down the table.
-
Fuckin hell, they're only playing Newcastle, what's with all the cynical fouling.
-
Fuck em, we don't get those either
-
I noticed that, 1 bookie seems keen on him. Win % of 36 at Exeter, surely a contender.
-
It's conceivable that we could be waiting until the summer to appoint someone, with Carver as caretaker, and never be told what's going on.

Agree 100% until they make cups worthwhile then why would any owner bother? If love to see someone come in who would concentrate on cups - not sure a foreign boss is the answer. Hence mclaren as my choice As McClaren doesn't seem to be a choice any more who do you want? I'm wondering how low you would go before you want a foreign coach. Don't care foreign or not, Eddie howe would be ace No premier league experience though.

Premier league experience would be nice, unfortunately the only coaches possible with that experience are from the merry-go-round of British mediocrity. I'm tired of seeing us hoy one coach onto that ride and pull another off.

McClaren to me represents the middle ground, he's 5/10, I don't want him but there are more repulsive possibilities. I can't say i'm sorry he's ruled himself out.

Even goldfish struggle in those bowls, not enough oxygen. Most need a bigger tank.

Did you not see him in Miami for England's pre-tournament friendly, he looked like he had heat stroke, dripping with sweat and holding an imaginary microphone. http://metrouk2.files.wordpress.com/2014/06/hoddle.jpg

I have a problem with coaches that haven't been the main man before, a head coach isn't so different from a manager, they still have to be a leader, it's arguably the most important requirement. A great coach could still be a pretty poor head coach.
-
Virtually rules out all of the proposed British names, does it not? As a nation we still struggle with the concept of a manager having no say whatsoever on the players he has to work with. It's also viewed as a bad thing as well which I find laughable really. It's the logical way to work IMO, it gives you the best chance of stability. Spending millions building a squad around a manager that will only be in the job for a few years, then having to rebuild again, is really quite silly. It's not just seen as bad either, alot of people(and the media) are repulsed by the idea.

Hoddle at the world cup was still advocating a Gerrard/Lampard midfield, and he thought Gerrard shouldn't retire from international football because "look at Pirlo".
-
I think alot of Spurs fans saw Sherwood as an embarrassing amateur with no tactical acumen.

If his intention is definitely to give Carver the job, and there is no doubt about that, then why hasn't he actually given him the job?
