  1. 15 players were released: Owen Bailey, Lewis Brannen, Tai Ebanks, Ludwig Francillette, Lucas Gamblin, Josh Gilchrist, Josh Harrison, Florent Indalecio, Oliver Marshall, Tom Midgley, George Rounsfell, Kyle Scott, Jude Swailes, Yannick Toure and Oliver Walters.
  2. The club's current state is a perfect reflection of those supporting it to be honest, nothing more than they deserve.
  3. I actually like that they don't want to wear the silver medals, that's the sort of mentality you need, imagine our lot having anything similar to that
  4. I said that after he won the world cup but surely Kante should get the Ballon d'or at some point?
  5. Kante is an unbelievable player, it's feels like you got 12 men on the field with him playing because he plays for two in midfield.
  6. Main reason i'm able to watch us is because of him, i don't know if i will be able to watch if he leaves us as we are completely diffrent without him in the side.
  7. Burak Yilmaz has to be one of the strangest signings that somehow worked, 35 year old striker on a free from the turkish league rand he (hopefully) leads them to a league title win against the PSG of Neymar and Mbappe
  8. Lille players have been running non stop in this first half but only got the one goal to show for it, if they don't get another soon they are running a major risk in the second half.

It's really amazing how well he's played with us, i remember seeing him in his league debut which was against us at SJP and thinking this lad won't make it very far. but he's been one of the best PL loan signings i've ever seen. Lets see if he can build on his loan spell or was this just another Papiss Cisse scenario
  10. Hopefully Lille will win the league tonight and PSG and all their money can fuck off.
  11. Mitrovic style of play doesn't work much in the premier league or in the sort of the teams he's played for including us, someone with more mobility like Wilson works much better, but i think there is a really good striker in him if he moves to another league, he broke Serbia's all time goal scoring record already and still got a good few years ahead of him.
  12. if Stade Rennais took any one of the many chances they had in the second half then it would've been all over for them in the league, as it stands they still have a chance. but i really hope Lille win their last two games and get the title.
  13. Have Mendy, Dallas and Adama Traore on my bench and they won't come on
  14. Our best right back by the looks of it, he works hard in the back and has a bit of quality when going forward, lets see if he can keep it up.
  15. Could've been at least 5-0 for them in that first half, at least we are also trying to attack (mainly by giving ASM the ball in our half and hoping he can dribble past their whole team) need Wilson on for Joelinton and maybe Willock for Longstaff so we can try and be more efficient when attacking.
  16. He's been Liverpool's best defender in the first half, killed any chance that came his way.
  17. I think the best way to save football going forward is to kick these teams out of all leagues, let them drown in their debt, maybe we would see an end to unsustainably run football clubs and inflated prices of players/tickets/merch etc that all end up going back to the pocket of these greedy fuckers. the sheer arrogance of this proposal really is striking, thinking the game is only about them? As always massive respect to German Clubs, they always seem to be the best run and care more about the game and the fans than profit.
  18. He's still here but has to be Joelinton for me, to see a striker so hopelessly out of his depth stay in the team for this long is soul sucking Mike Williamson was not even league two standard when he was playing week in-week out for us so he's a good shout Alan Smith and Nickey Butt legs were completely gone before they even signed for us, yet we got to see them stealing a living for too long Jack Colback was also one, we seemed to lose every time we play him towards then end Obertan was also another infuriating player as he always seemed to make the wrong choices.
  19. I would hate for us to be relegated, it seems a certianity under the current fool in charge, the one thing we did have to cheer us up in the last few years is how shit Sunderland are and to think we could be in the same division as them next year is grim.
  20. Him as a striker with Bruce as your manager is actually the perfect combination if you are trying to get relegated, while the (non)tactics will do most of the trick, you need him upfront to make sure that if by accident we do end up in the final third nothing will come of it.
  21. How the fuck does he know what Mike Ashley's feelings are like, its the same people who were making stuff up during the Saudi takeover process. Anyway, as long as Bruce in charge there is no hope of escaping relegation, or even winning another game this season, how is his stats compared to other managers? are they as bad as his tactics/style of play/everything ls?
  22. I was watching the Everton and Burnley game yesterday and absloutly loving it, meanwhile i went to sleep before the 2nd half of our game almost every game that is not ours is significantly better.

He looks like he came from another planet than the rest of them, actually knows what to do with a football and how to move on the pitch.
  24. We deserve to get relegated purely for choosing to give him minutes on the field at a level where he should be nowhere near.
