Everytime the media has a slow period they start bringing this up because they know how fucking desperate we are
-
They were founded by Russian KGB agents but honestly looking at their players they are about as modest as you can get playing at this level, so really well done to them.
-
Saint Maximin is in another world than the rest of our teams.
-
Great striker and and even better person, i was lucky to be there for his first season and have some great memories of some of his goal, wish him all the best.

Allan Saint-Maximin (now playing for Fenerbahce, on loan from Al-Ahli)

He has two players with one of the worst end product/movement in the league playing alongside him in Joelinton and Almiron, so you can't really fault him sometimes from not being able to release someone. -
I was waiting for quite a while for Woodman to play for us and really hoped he'd be our goalkeeper for a long time, but after his horrible start to the season and Darlow's impressive return i think we won't see him for a while, good performance from Karl today.

He's obviously too good to be be playing for us but i think he deserves a call up to the next France squad, might up his value even more when he finally decides he's had enough playing with all the shit around him. -
This game was there for the taking and he puts on Emil Krafth to replace Manquillo with 10 minutes to go.
-
The performance today is a good Joelinton performance, which considering how incredibly the bar has been set for him is still not good enough for this league, he does a lot of things right but the minute we get into the final third he shits himself, similar to Almiron who has been doing the same since he joined, ASM is the only one who attacks with real intent.

The good thing with Barcelona is that they have a proper academy so even if you merge some of the youngsters with the more experienced players the team is still going to be able to win games and compete for titles.
-
So we are not going to give the Parody signing his own thread?
-
I thought he was doing quite well there? they seem to be a bit struggling at the moment.
-
The Season only started last week and we are already in crisis, in a relegation battle and got knocked out of a cup, this guy does it like no other
-
I honestly think he doesn't even bother analysis the other teams and how they would play, he just decides what team he wants to put out and puts them there and hopes for the best.

Freddie Woodman (now playing for Preston North End)
Newcastle Fan replied to sempuki's topic in Football
He waited a long time for his chance and he got it when the team looks completely out of shape and focus (obviously because of the manager), like Toney and Armstrong i feel like if he leaves us he's going to find himself as a key player in another club in a few years. -
Ivan Toney got man of the match, he dominated the Arsenal defense today, Arsenal are starting to remind me of how we play when we are on a bad period, the players show up and play pretend football, any team who is a bit aggressive and wants to win more takes the three point from them. As for Brentford i'm happy for them, not sure if the rest of their season will be this good but at least tonight will be a night they won't forget.
-
Its a great signing for both us and him, he fits well into our system but i just hope we don't put too much expectations on the kid, he was one of the best players in the league towards the end of last season but he still has a lot to learn and hopefully he will continue to produce once he joins us permanently.
-
He Had quite a few chances to impress on loan but failed to take any, even with the reserves i remember him being utter shit when they played Sunderland in the Papa Johns Cup.
-
Florian Lejeune (now playing for Rayo Vallecano)
Newcastle Fan replied to sempuki's topic in Football
Not too bothered with him leaving as at times he looked good and at times he looked quite shite, but he left us with that amazing comeback against Everton to remember him with so fair play. -
Literally "heading" to the semi final.
-
Looking at how Var and the general standard of officiating has been in the Euros it really tells you where the problem is, it's nothing with the rules or VAR as much as its how incompetent the people in charge of applying them are in the EPL
-
Donnarumma also heading to PSG, good move for them but i must say Keylor Navas is the most disrespected goalkeeper in recent times, won 3 champions league with Real Madrid while they were trying to get rid of him, went to PSG and massively improved them and yet they sign someone to replace him.

Football has been a sport for more than 120 years and they still can't sort the offside rule out
-
15 players were released: Owen Bailey, Lewis Brannen, Tai Ebanks, Ludwig Francillette, Lucas Gamblin, Josh Gilchrist, Josh Harrison, Florent Indalecio, Oliver Marshall, Tom Midgley, George Rounsfell, Kyle Scott, Jude Swailes, Yannick Toure and Oliver Walters.

The club's current state is a perfect reflection of those supporting it to be honest, nothing more than they deserve.
