Personally i'm more happy with the Howe appointment than Emery, i feel like he's a better transitional manager for us than the former and hopefully will be able to fix the short term problems that we have, if he does manage to do that then he will earn the chance to try and take us further, if not then the time would be right for a high level appointment.

I think getting a sporting director is just as important as getting the new manager, if anything a good sporting director can be the one who utilizes his contact and knowledge of the game to get us the right appointment, as well as the right players in January, it seems that there are no people in the current structure who are qualified to run the football side of things.

I'm really not that excited Emery, watching him at Arsenal he never seemed to have a specfic style of play, he has done incredibly well with the likes of Sevilla and Villareal but not sure what he can offer a side like us, at PSG he seemed to always mess up when it mattered and i remember during his spat with Ben Arfa the later told him that even with the best team in the world he won't get past the champions league quarter final, at both Arsenal and PSG he has found it difficult to control the dressing room. That being said we just had Steve Bruce as manager so i really don't think we could do any worse, if he does come here i hope that he proves everyone wrong and help take us forward.

I am really not a fan of Emery but right now things are getting quite desperate, Spurs fire their manager and on the same day they seem to have a replacement ready while our guys seem to be struggling to get the contact number of anyone decent.
