83 but had Raphina on the bench and he won't play so gutted about that.
-
His inabillty to shoot/cross/make the right pass in the final third was unbelievable, he just never seemed to take the right option, that being said he did his bit for us in the championship and at the first season back to the premier league so i can only wish him the very best.
-
The Scouse Mackams must hate us, every year we seem to screw them over
-
I was going to say he looks like a championship player but even players in the championship have one or two redeeming qualities, he seems to panic every time the ball or an opposition player comes towards him, we can pull whoever is playing left-back in our U-23 side and he will do the same job if not better.
-
Unbelievable how he adds absolutely nothing to the side, i was trying to focus on what exactly he's trying to do on the pitch and mostly he was late almost every single time when trying to press them or stop an attack, he just seemed to wander around and the minute he gets the ball just passes it to nearest man and fucks off again.
-
I genuinely believe you could pick any player in his position(s) from any of the four football leagues and he will do no worse if not significantly better than him, he needs to be taken out of the team for good.
-
He's another signing that makes you scratch your head and think what were they looking at when they decided to sign him.
-
In a way not having fans in the stadium is a good thing for us, neither the media nor Bruce can blame the "deluded fans" for putting pressure on him when he is trying his best and was doing well, even though we all knew from the day he got appointed what was going to happen.
-
Doing well so far with quite a few players left to play, although i used the bench boost since i had Neto, Bamford, Holding and Sam Johnstone on it and so far i only got 4 points out of it so that might've been a bad decision.
-
ffs KDB could've made the whole game week worth it but decided not to, City are experts at fucking up fantasy plans
-
I don't think we make any bids really, the media just shove our name there as they have nothing else to write about us
-
Xisco technically has a better goal scoring record with us.
-
Shola is George Weah compared to this fucking guy.
-
He's a far better option than Joelinton, which isn't saying much but for some reason with persist with the former just to try and justify his transfer fee.
-
Pleased for him for getting that goal.
-
I've never seen him have a good game, until of course he came on against us last year and scored an absolute cracker right in front of me, apart from that he always seems to be out of position and offers little in defense or attack.
-
Superb last night and this season, he deserves to be our No.1 and even the talk about an England call up is justified.
-
He's so limited in what he does, MLS seemed more or less his level, don't understand why people talk about him sometimes as if he's the second coming of Ben Arfa.
-
Its really hard watching him play upfront, he adds so little to the team going forward, you can pick any striker from the lower leagues and he would do the same or better than him.

Matty Longstaff (now playing for Toronto FC)
Newcastle Fan replied to toontownman's topic in Football
He was very tidy yesterday and had good energy about him, hope he gets more confidence and tries putting in some through balls to our strikers soon as that's the only thing that was missing. -
Ever since he started his career he couldn't put in a proper cross or a do something useful in the final third, you would think with years and years of training he will get just a little bit better but no.
-
He can't really play as a sole striker, Germany tried that and they failed and so did his previous club and they had to always pair him up with someone, tbf both Giroud and Abraham are scoring in most games they start as well, the problem is even on the wing Werner gets great chances, he just seems to need 3-4 chances before scoring one. Lampard is really showing his inexperience, that Arsenal game was a total shit show and despite having world class players and decent back-ups in every position he just can't seem to make it work.
-
The sight of him soaked in the rain, shouting at the team in a game he already decided we lost before a ball was even kicked
-
Awful by Chelsea but well done to Arsenal, always thought their Europa league side plays much better football than the side they put out for the premier league, fair play to Arteta for giving it a go.
-
Thought he was much better yesterday, put in quite a few good tackles and had more energy about him, but his passing and movement needs to be better.
