  1. Are they planning on using him as a central midfielder? Manuel da Costa joined Nsofor Obinna at Lokomotiv, btw. Toulouse sign Abdennour.
  2. Don't think Young is anything like the player Man U need. Especially at the price, which I have not seen, but am quite sure will be absurd.
  3. I feel like a 5 foot 9 athlete like Matuidi would be more useful in the air than a 6 foot lump of immobility.
  4. Last season maybe... I am not sure we can simply "have" the top scorer in Ligue 1. He may be more difficult to obtain than a striker who is being overshadowed by a recent big buy at the same position.
  5. We need a centre back? In my opinion, the centre of midfield in the most important part of a football pitch, and you can never have enough quality players occupying that area. Tend to agree. Do you rate Matuidi? (sorry of you've already answered this recently) I rate him pretty highly. He's not as good as some of the French press linking him to the likes of Arsenal would have you believe, but he's a class, physical, box to box midfielder who could actually play alongside Tiote and Cabaye/Barton if we use 4-3-3.
  6. I wouldn't consider Jones, Fuller, or Anichebe to actually be slow. None of pace merchants, but we are not dealing with the likes of Shola and Nolan, here. I'm half joking about Victor, btw. I know he has a poor record, but he generally runs around a lot when playing for his country and this make me want to see him have success in his career.

  8. He's physical and always puts a good shift in. His touch around goal may be negligible, but he can be an effective player for teams in the lower part of the Premiership. Your assessments are overly harsh in their nature.
  9. You should enjoy life without your most consistent and hard working attacking (?) player. Honestly, the guy is talented and your team will suffer from his absence.
  10. Didnt seem to tear any tree’s up at West Ham like. I thought he actually showed well for a good portion of the season. He completely fell off the face of the earth around March, though. This did not surprise me at all.
  11. Any of the informed Scandinavians have opinions on Ujah, Nosa, and Chukwuma Bentley? I've heard a lot of decent things about the first two especially. Ujah should be cracking the SE soon if he continues at this rate. Great potential in Ujah and Nosa. Ujah seems to be a terrific goalscorer and a constant threat in and around the box. Nosa is a powerful midfielder with a good engine who can turn games around. Also a decent goalscorer. Bentley isn`t especially rated in Norway nowadays. He`s not bad though, but definitely not good enough to be shipped out to PL. Hopefully, they can follow the footsteps of Obi and Obasi by moving to a top club. Norway seems to be a nice country for talented young players to go and develop.
  12. Obinna has gone toff to Lokomotiv Moscow. The boy can't seem to stick anywhere. He's a pretty good (although stupid and inconsistent) player in all honesty.

  14. A bloke with warts, 7 eyes, a cleft lip, and Prince Charles ears could pull in liquid. Maybe if you knew what people who were born with that have to go through, you'd reconsider using it as part of a joke, dickhead. Quite ridiculous statements from these "holier than thou" people. The problem here is fitness. The boy can play football and has an ability to do it very well. It scares you that the injuries have mostly been to the groin and hamstring areas, which can often be chronic situations, but he is worth the risk. I just hope that he is an option and not THE plan. Imo, placing too much on the backs of new players with inconsistent histories has been our downfall in the past.
  15. Just going off this video alone, he seemed fairly selfish and out of touch with the rest of the team. You'll notice he didn't create too much for the others and ran into blind alleys a few times because he couldn't connect with teammates. This should improve with time. He's already our most talented player, imo.
  16. In what way? Messi would probably cost more than all of them combined going by market value Actual transfer fees, rather than reported value? Villa and Alves cost about 70 million euros by themselves, tbf. Something is wrong with the way England actually runs it teams, btw. Most of these players have good amounts of technical talent, but there just isn't cohesiveness.

  18. I fail to see how the club gains from this in anyway. Not even Ashley's pockets benefit in a manner that would be truly meaningful to him. It is just senseless destruction of something that was working for no particular reason. Awful decision from the club. If we are replacing Nolan with better players, let these players first display in NUFC's colours, that they are actually superior to Kevin Nolan.

    Joey Barton

If there's a club that wants to pay decent money for him, I'd bring him on a bicycle myself. Jonas actually puts forth effortful performances on a fairly consistent basis, so it might be worth opening our accounts for him.

    Joey Barton

Barton's my favourite player we have at the moment, but he's acted like a fucking idiot in this circumstance, something which he has shown affinity for in the past. If I was an average employee being paid far above my worth, there is little chance I would be openly antagonistic with my employers. Honestly, I hope we don't give this bastard a new contract and he ends up at Wolves. Too much hassle. Too little return.
  21. Honestly man. God forbid anyone should have an opinion on our manager. There's enough of you quick enough to slag off Alan f***ing Shearer like he's just taken a s*** on your car, and Chris Hughton, and Kevin Keegan. When did this prick become sacrosanct? It's just ridiculous to make that sort of judgement on Shearer and Pardew given their respective stints at the club. It makes no sense.
  22. Joint 22nd scorers in England: Lampard, Kalou, Nasri, Torres, Gyan France: Lucho Gonzalez, Gignac Italy:Quagliarella, Palacio, Zarate Germany: Kuzmanovic, Grafite We could do quite well only approaching the joint 22nd top scorers in the major Europeans leagues, tbh. I get that he's thick as pigshit, aye. Not really. What, then?
  23. Both look very good. Slightly different players as Andre is usually played on the wing and even sometimes in the center, where he utilises his effortful disposition and high work rate. Andre is top class without doubt. Was a vital player for OM this season, and Nath is correct, if he joins any club in England, it would probably be Arsenal. Jordan is more of a question mark as he's had less appearances, but he's contributed some important goals even at his young age.
  24. This line of argumentation is very stupid. If Enrique posed for a similar photo, your response would have been, "wtf. jejejejejeje " or something along that line. You apply negativity to the photo because of the other factors surrounding the player. I have photos of myself with guns, but this doesn't say anything about me.
