Mike Ashley, Derek Llambias, Lee Charnley, Graham Carr, Alan Pardew, John Carver, Steve McClaren.
Between those 7 names lies the responsibility for this historic mess. Incompetence at its finest.
I think it's a bit harsh to tarnish Pearson as the Pardew-clone he's being made out to be. Had a fantastic record at Leicester really. Obviously he's a total cunt so I understand that side of not wanting him in charge.
21 year old 'target man' striker brought in from abroad with the expectation of instantly hitting 20 goals to keep a team up.
Not one player brought in who specialises in crossing and no other player at the club who works well from flick on's / knock downs.
Blame 21 year old striker for being shit.
He's a talented player without a proper position and therefore someone who will probably never be anything more than a good squad player.
And that's for us, let alone Barca.
Maybe it was just how bad City were tonight, but I look at their tactics and can't see any evidence of a philosophy, or style bar letting the big name players play the way they want. Hence Toure, Silva (when fit) & Aguero showing absolutely no interest in running when they don't have the ball.
Absolutely ridiculous to say Atletico and Leicester play the same style of football.
Leicester's style this season was so similar to the Atleti team of 13/14, and even this side has much of the same DNA.
The best thing is that the to an extent, all of the front 6 have a licence to swarm on their counter attacks. It's a proper thing of beauty when it comes together and another step to moving away from the defensive posession based football which popped up in response to Spain and Barcelona.
