  1. we will see next season give top european sides that amount of possession and they will destroy you How many 'top' European sides are there, realistically? Bayern, Barca & Real for starters, then you'd have a case for PSG, Juve and Dortmund. Atleti are great, but they sure as fuck aren't knocking 4 or 5 past Leicester. So what you're basically saying is that if Leicester get to the Champions League quarter finals next year, they might get humped? I think they'd be okay with that!

    Paul Dummett

We exist in a league where the likes of Craig Dawson and Phil Bardsley are regular starters at full back, Danny Simpson is about to win the league ffs. Dummett's habit of giving the ball away costs us much less than Janmaat constantly losing his man at the far post, or Haidara simply always being out of position.

    Paul Dummett

He's shown to be decent defensively many times, both at left back and in the centre. Some people will always have the agenda of wanting their left backs to be in the mould of Marcelo, which PD will certainly never be.

Trying to defend the likes of Andy Carroll in the air.

Wasn't noticeably bad other than letting Sturridge go for the 1st goal. Milner didn't get much out of him.
  6. Has enlisted the help of renowned Sports Psychologist Jeremy Snape. 'Jeremy needs to get my message across, not his' Cunt.
  7. This whole case was questionnable as fuck from the start.

    Andros Townsend

I rated him before and am pleased he's starting to do well. Seems like he has a really good attitude too which is so refreshing in our side.
  9. That's my point, I doubt those people make the major decisions with who to sign or how much to pay. No doubt they sign it off but they listen to those who know and trust their judgement, be that Pearson, Ranieri or the scout who found Mahrez. Whereas everyone making those decisions at NUFC (and probably Villa too) has been fixated on signing every player based on one thing, sell on value.
  10. And further to that, those who decide 'value' are experienced football people rather than glorified accountants or marketing students.
  11. Moyes obviously did great things for Everton, but is there not a feeling that his two most recent jobs have broken him a bit? Like McClaren in some sense. For me we need someone young, energetic and ambitious, not someone worn down by recent failure and just looking for the next paycheck.
  12. He must be paid about 50k a week to trot out for the odd reserve game. One of the worst signings in recent memory, and exactly the type of player that needs to fuck off.
  13. He's comparing the Leicester side of today with our 2003 ish side under SBR. Different era's and styles aside, I think this Leicester team would have finished hgiher in the league than that 2003 team.

Have you read the article? Twisted journalism at it's finest.
  16. Yep, should have saved the second, Shearer was spot on.
  17. That was a long time ago. I'd be surprised if other lower league clubs hadn't learned to cope with these techniques by now. Watching the channel 5 highlights show yesterday, you're in for a surprise.
  18. We won't though, 7th highest revenue in the country will put us comfortably top of the Championship in terms of money coming in, and the parachute payments would only enhance that. We only need to hit on 3 or 4 key signings and that will be good enough. Surely even we can't fuck it up that bad?
  19. 1. Sack the board and appoint proper people into those roles. 2. Appoint a manager willing to play an attacking, attractive brand of football. 3. Try and sell absolutely anyone. 4. Sign players who have experience in the league, fit what the manager wants to do and want to come. 5. Blood the likes of Armstrong and find out what you've got.
  20. He's a capable enough defender to play in a well organised side and carry out his job effectively. Playing behind Mahrez and having Kante/Drinkwater to cover him also means he never gets exposed. And he doesn't get forward much as Huth and Morgan have no pace and need someone on the cover. Basically Leicester are just an incredible team.
  21. This is my line of thinking as well. Arrived from a club with a winning mentality. Part of an international set-up with the highest standards & expectations in place......... and then thrust into the demotivating forcefield that is Sports Direct United with it's losing culture & amateurish set-up. It's quite a culture shock. As you allude to the workrate off the ball is non-existent now. Such a slick & talented footballer but the reality is he mmentally checked out a while ago. Think this attitude gives the players an easy cop out. He's come to what is supposedly the best league in the world where players from countries such as Holland dream of playing. He will have received a hefty pay rise on his arrival and plays in front of 50k in one of Europe's best stadiums. Surely if he had a single ounce of professional pride he would still perform for himself and his team mates if nothing else. He's no more than a coward, same as Sissoko, Coloccini, Tiote etc. The squad is littered with them, 10 or 11 of them have cried off with injuries and those that go out on the pitch haven't tried a leg for just about the entire season. The much fabled recruitment policy has been completely blown to bits this season. How Carr is still in employment is anyone's guess. He should be sat in a nursing home somewhere, not head of recruitment at a Premier League football club. This. Far too many people making excuses for the players.
  22. Mitrovic' comments are wide of the mark.
