Derby were woeful at our place last year, they came to defend, didn't create anything for about 80 minutes and then missed an absolute sitter. Had they shown any ambition they may well have made a proper game of it. I felt we won comfortably at their place. It'll be interesting to see if they try and put Sunderland under early pressure.

Why are they shooting from 25 yards; like bloody back passes. There's a complete lack of composure.

The game was played at 80% max; all about getting minutes into legs and formations. It was worrying how easy we were exposed down our right and we all know that we really do need a goal threat up front. Lots of triangles played and trying things that wouldn't happen in a competitive game. Rafa knows where we need strengthening let's hope he gets players in. We need goals; we can't be relying on Gayle.

If we go into the season without strengthening in key positions we'll get what we deserve. As it stands we're having to hope that players who have struggled in the PL before will now be good enough to get us to around 40 points. I just don't see it. We struggled quite a bit at home last season and our away form was based on keeping out second rate attacks and us taking some of the chances that came our way. We were relegated with better players than we've currently got.

Are Arsenal actually playing here?

Wish him all the best. Crucial goal at Brentford and a belter just before ht at home Rotherham when we'd been awful. His finishing was far better than Mitro's.
