I'm sitting in a bar in a Corfu watching this, by myself (pathetic etc). Villa are on another screen with nobody watching them and AC on the other with about 30 watching them. We have better players left out however, we'd get murdered if we took them on especially as AP has never used his best players in a system to make best use of their talents. We should have a starting 11 that could pay fast, exciting football, full of movement. Instead we've got restrictive, predictable and defeatist tactics that should only be seen from League One downward.

Any details on his likely wage? Whilst I don't think he contributes as much as he should and certainly wasn't worth 20M, he's far more threatening than Jonas and on the face of it is value at 5M. Can only assume FS and Gold have agreed to stupid wage.
