  1. Our movement when in possession has been woeful. That has to be symptomatic of the hoof ball we resort to; we seem to have forgotten how to actually play. It's basic stuff we're now getting wrong. It needs sorting now.
  2. How many out there don't actually think Joe Hart is the great keeper he's made out to be? At (regular) times his decision making is school boy. I actually wince at some of the things he does. He has very good reactions; I'll give him that.
  3. Train to kings cross Wednesday morning, fly from gatwick Wednesday afternoon, 2 nights in Bordeaux then same route back. 4 of us as it stands, 18 went to Brugge so a big drop. Ncle-KC, stay in London overnight night Wed, early morning Eurostar to Paris then ATV to Bordeuax, stay Thursday night then reverse trip back (without the night in London).
  4. Mango Beer, Honey Beer and two others; one had 4 letters, can't remember the name just now. Fruit Beer had just been finished. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm253/nufcstu/598974E4-65BB-4476-8113-E5A42AD4EC26-242-000000D60A864222.jpg
  5. I was in the home end; the toilets were fine and there were loads of food stalls just outside - it was like a food village. I tried to get in the nufc end (which was above us) at HT but was told to go back in the home end by a Steward who couldn't have failed notice I was both english and a nufc fan (tbf I did tell him this). It was quite funny when we scored, the nufc fans above were leaning over going wild and some of the home fans we were in with were doing the "come on down" dance. On my way up to the nufc fans at HT one of the home fans was going mental with a Steward guarding the lower level stairs wanting to be let up to have a go. If he'd just come with me he could have simply walked up the stairs in the home end and walked across. At least that way he'd have come face to face with them.
  6. No urgency, no movement, more often than not route one football. No, not Nolan and Big Sam but us today and to be fair for a few other home games this season so far. Wtf is going on; rubbish today.

    Sam Allardyce

http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/sam-allardyce-go-back-to-st-james-park-and-make-yourselves-west-ham-heroes-8300421.html Read it on the way back from Kings Cross; had to read it twice and make sure it wasn't Not The Big Sam's column. What a twat the man is.
  8. Last one for now - yes very strange chocolates. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm253/nufcstu/3AF85D7D-33DF-499C-8653-F4377A1D1F57-1657-000001D7C0242406.jpg

  11. Just got back to the square. There were a fair few Nufc fans in home areas (us included) and the official away areas were made up if 3 separate areas with quite a few spare seats. I tried to move a ht but they wouldn't let me. Missed their 2 goals and one of our lot has been lifted by the police but no idea why. Spoke to a lad who came with Thomas cook they all did get tickets and as the flight wasn't full they sold spare tickets to passengers who then profiteered from them. Also saw youth team players this morning who were asking £150 for a ticket
  12. How many of you got lost last night. We spent 2 hours walking around in circles and eventually got directions off the police. All the streets end up looking the same. Haven't heard about any stabbing.
  13. Very similar to Tiote so the Red Card was no surprise. Stupid challenge; Suarez had got to him a otherwise he wouldn't have made it. Suarez had done him a number of times by then with quick turns. Colo will look back at it and see that he's got himself a 3 game ban for wanting to give Suarez a bit of a kicking and then not really going through with it. As far as the law is concerned you either allow that type of challenge or you don't. IMO you don't allow it and we have lost 2 players with soft red cards. How Larrson not even concede a free kick when he karate kicked Shola is simply baffling.
  14. How you manage that? With great difficulty. A Belgian colleague bought them on the net and then he gave his ID to a Brugge ST holder who collected the tickets from the Brugge Box Office as you only get an e-voucher on Internet sales which needs to be presented in exchange for the actual tickets. I also have a ticket for Brugge-Bordeaux as you had to buy a 2 match package. Sorry, but . :suicide: :suicide: :suicide: I still wouldn't have enough points so:

  16. Where were Bruges fan in home ends like? They had Level 7 and like always in European games they had a section of the milburn paddock and corporate. There were 3 sitting in front of me in the Milburn Paddock near the Gallowgate. Row EE.
  17. Got match tickets - home section; now just have to get in and not be thrown out. Ridiculous really, especially given the numbers of Brugge fans in home ends over here.
  18. We were very very lucky 2nd half. We should try playing football instead of hoofing the fucker up the pitch. We have players who can pass and move; so what were the instructions today? Hoof the ball and hope for the best. Awful.

    Sammy Ameobi

Shola was never anywhere near being quick. Spoke to a scout who was at the Brugge game who said him and a good few others were keeping a close eye on Sammy. Predicated a big future if he is nurtured the right way. Suppose we could all say that, wonder if a 6 month loan somewhere would do him good. The scout was from a PL club.
  20. When he, KK and Waddle were all on their game the old 2nd Div hadn't seen anything like it; neither had we. we'd been served shit for years and then bam, we had players capable of ridiculous things. Funny thing about Pedro was that everyone knew he was going to do his feign and go the other way but even at 36 or so nobody could stop it. On a side note, he is God Father to my step son though we have only bumped into him outside the ground since ive been around though Ronnie has been to the house a few times.
  21. Don't fancy carrying my passport around; wonder if a photocopy would do when walking around Brugge - it's the only photo ID I have.
  22. Pretty uninspiring performance and it was bloody cold. Brugge singing "shall we sing a song for you" was about right; our songs were shite. JS isn't Catt's dad and the Brugge support wasn't shite; they sold out and 3 more were sat in front of me in The Milburn. At times Tiote and Bigi were seeing who between them could miss place a pass better. Obertan took his goal well and ran fast but his actual play was rubbish. His crossing was poor, his passing was poor and when he got moved to left he may as well have been sitting with me. Sammy was the bright spot but he needs to learn to pass at the right time. Anita looks like he'll need fine. Brugge could well argue that they were worth a point. We may do ok over there as they set up to hit us quickly on the break and as the home side they may set up differently.
  23. Apparently when they stopped kicking him he tried (allegedly?) to stab one of them with a screw driver. God only knows why they were drinking in there in the first place or Black Garter; seems The Clock may be a step too far down market. Someone tell them to go down the Quayside for a couple of hours.
