The yearly transfer budget does not compare to other clubs in terms of budget to income ratio. The marketing income does not compare to other clubs with the same general turnover due to Ashley hijacking SJP and using it as a billboard for all his other businesses particularly Sports bloody Direct !! So for the avoidance of doubt, Pardew had his hands firmly tied behind his back People.
