Was pretty much crying when we signed him. Was pretty much crying when he left too. Never has a player turned my opinions around so much, not a world-beater by any stretch but a top pro for us and gets a from me.

Used to watch him at Forest when he was probably playing as well as he has in his career. Plays well about 1 in 5 matches, has a shocking first touch and is basically a Shola mkII (not in a good way.) Just not very good - but I could understand the whole 'just get bodies in' mentality we suddenly seem to be craving for.

I know not really the right game to judge people on, but Xisco was total garbage in pre-season against Orient (although many players were). Doesn't seem to have a clue where he's supposed to be playing and what he's supposed to be doing. God forbid Kinnear was actually right...

Meh, would like to see the youth actually given a chance rather than rushing out than getting half-arsed loans and 'experienced' frees with their best years long behind them. Think it's time for a lot of these players to step up, and I'm honestly not that fussed if we don't sign another player - although at this club we always could do with another full back!

The fact it's in the Sun means it's bad enough, but I'd reckon that it was probably Frazier Campbell and they got their facts completely wrong.

Could really make a difference for any team - yes his crossing wasn't great but he was constantly put onto his wrong foot to cross with. Yeah a couple of his 'falls' weren't great, likewise whinging - but the 'big four' have squads full of players like that and obviously does them a lot of harm. As talented a player as we've got - was knackered by the end but certainly wasn't the only one.

Did basically what was Shola's job today better. Will be interesting to see how he copes against better more experienced defenders in the league with a half-decent strike partner, but so far so good.

Don't know about last night, but Smith was fucking abysmal against Orient and how he's our captain I have no idea. Actually scratch that I do - we're trying to be a total shambles, and best way to do that on the pitch is lead by example.
