It is impossible to overestimate the quality and consistency of the job Dan Burn has been doing for us.

You do know that the incredible alliance of NUFC and it's new owners will (reasonably soon) break the Septic Six Cartel FOR EVER. Our owners are very clever people, they will do what needs to be done and they ("we") will achieve what needs to be achieved.
-
Quite seriously I am not sure if they can ever get into the Premier League again. BUT If they ever did (again, seriously) what would be the very best they could do? Rapid relegation, perhaps an 'occasional' yo-yo club. ALL at the same time as we are . . . . .
-
Yes it is, most definitely. Finishing second in the best league in the football world, and then in the years after that following it up with . . . ! ! ! GLORIOUS indeed!
-
I agree. Our owners will want it long before that. Consequently (because of them) so do I.
-
Thankfully I do not think that anyone at the club would agree with that! The second option (if it ever becomes a choice between those two options) is by many miles the best (and only) real choice.
-
I can understand the desire of some supporters to win our first major tournament since 1969. However, looking at the bigger picture, winning the League Cup does not mean you are a particularly good side, whereas finishing 2nd in the Premier league DOES mean that . . . and a lot more besides. So, 2nd option no contest.

Yes, you are CORRECT !!! Comparisons with other clubs and other takeovers are not relevant. Our club is (always was) very different, and comparing the slightly negative attitudes towards our future with the VERY negative comments we had to endure about our takeover - is very apt. My message is W A I T and see !!!!

Bloody Hell, at least once a week I went on there and damaged myself laughing so hard at those sad (but hilarious) morons. WHAT am I going to do now for the Big Laughs that I have become absolutely hooked on?

I don't think it would ever go out of the City, it just would not work in Gateshead or Whitley Bay. In fact, I don't think they would even consider anywhere outside the 'City Centre' to be honest ! In fact, I'm sure they will stay at an extended SJP.
-
While I would always want to stay at an upgraded and extended SJP, I also disagree with what you say about any new stadium's location. It needs to be in the City Centre. I live in the City but I am about five miles from the City Centre and quite near the City Boundary (that you mention) and I don't think that any new stadium would prosper that far out !!!

One City Council Member has suggested this as an 'idea' as HMRC at Benton Park View in High Heaton (it is not in 'Longbenton') are moving into the City Centre in 2027, and as BPV is next door to the Freeman Hospital he has said that he thinks it would be a good idea to move the hospital next door. I would say it is extremely unlikely to happen - but you never know! https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/council-vision-move-freeman-hospital-25381399

The 'Benton Park View' HMRC site in High Heaton is a non-starter, for a whole host of reasons, either for a Stadium or a Training Ground.
-
As discussed a lot on here already perhaps "next to" (but not "on") Newcastle Racecourse, in the 'Parklands' area of Newcastle. However not a new stadium but a state of the art Training Ground and Academy etc. Our Stadium M U S T remain in the City Centre - and it will, at St James' Park.
-
It is not worth thinking about or writing about - at all.
-
-
Most fans do not want to move away from SJP.
-
He is without doubt - and by a very large margin - the greatest player of all time. It is amazing how the 'passage of time' can lead some people to think that other great players from later eras (their eras, presumably) are anything like as good.
-
They will be playing four matches before we play our next league match !!!
-
For quite a few years West Ham was the closest top division club to where I was living. They have a loyal hard-core of fans and a large "people" base (population) but they do not have a particularly large "fan" base.

We need a decent reserve keeper.

Yes, as mentioned earlier, Tyne & Wear Council closed down in 1986.
