The coaching standards change from county to county. I'm a registered referee with Derbyshire FA & got my level 1 coaching badge there. I was never much of a footballer but loved the fitness & training aspect. It's great fun and if you do summer courses with schools like my ex girlfriend did you can earn about £15-£25 an hour. It's really rewarding in alot of ways. Saying that though, refereeing at county level is a nightmare.

I'd settle for that too.

I must admit I don't know a massive amount about Tiago. Can someone give an unbiased opinion of him? What kind of player is he?

I'm sick of people going on about Spurs and how we should be matching them. Last season they won a trophy and will be playing in europe this coming season. I'm sure that if that had been us then we'd have got the Modrics and the Woodgates. All we can do is build a squad of hungry players that will WORK for the team and especially for the manager. Something that we haven't had in a long time. From watching pre-season alone (I know, I know) the 2 signings that I'd expect to be in or around the first team have shown at least some desire to want to play and have shown some skill on the ball. I'm confident that we'll play well this season, with some great wins but equally with some frustrating losses. It's football, except this season we should be a little better at it.

Out of interest did anyone here ever go to the old open practice sessions they had? I went once but I was really young.. about 9 or so I'd say. Love to see them kind of things back.
