It starts directly after the 29th day of Ramadan and the length is based on moon cycles, hence why it is called last minute. source - I live in the UAE. GCC all have varying days for their public holidays, but none are anywhere close to 10-14 days.

The same people would be complaining if the Saudis had caught those behind beoutQ and chopped their arms off (or whatever they do to pirates over there). Can't win. I’m sure there’s another alternative however. Probably don’t need to go to ‘chopping arms off’ straight away.
