  1. Better manager ? Go and sit in the corner and think about what you've just said
  2. Desperate to show that he knew better and we could do some amazing fwont foot football but then reverting back straight away
  3. Im stuck on a train on my way home from Lincoln so I'm relying on you guys to tell me how quickly and badly the wheels come off
  4. Absolutely but it's up to Bruce as the manager (head coach) to deal with that and change that, ultimately the book stops with him.

We'd still see the endless recycling of the same teams yo-yo-ing thru the divisions (with the added bonus of us getting sucked in more often) Owners like Ashley would be forced to be more competitive to stay away from the drop. He wouldn't like having to invest in order to stay on the gravy train but can't afford not to be there.
  6. 100% he's found a sheet with a Rafa formation on it under the desk and just gone with that. Without the plan to back it up of course
  7. He's not got the brass neck to ride this one out, he'll quit sooner rather than later, he's no Pardew.
  8. Blackpool are finally free from the Oystons, it was repossessed after a court case with the guy that had a 10% stake in the club. Owen Oyston bled the club dry to prop up his estate agent business and the other guy didn't see a penny of the premiership money so the club and the hotel next to it was repossessed and auctioned off. At least one club is on the mend and with a really decent owner too there's hope yet.
  9. Same team, same formation, Joelinton will be isolated all game with his hands on his hips and Almiron will take all the flack for not supporting his striker. What do I win?
  10. Read the first line, scrolled down, not reading that blood pressure inducing, violence enticing, rent-a-quote.
  11. on the contrary find it really promising. if the away fans have called it a day already then hes in deep shit 100% this, if they can't muster a rendition of Steve Brewcies black & white army in the second game of the season then he's already a walking corpse
  12. Called them into training yesterday to work on pulling up their socks first Whoah, Whoah, Whoah! Slow your horses mate, they've got to put their boots on first, if they don't he'll not forgive them!
  13. Sorry if all this has already been posted: How could we possibly compete against the mighty Norwich? Inquests now too? Should have stuck with the back to basics and saved the inquest for next week's drubbing, halcyon days indeed.
  14. We will keep losing and we'll all see what's happening, the players already look like they've given up and Ashley and Charnley will continue to stand by their man (see McClaren) until it's far too late, eventually he'll get canned and the next manager will be someone we could actually get behind but he'll be blamed for the inevitable relegation. This will be a spanking and the next 2 we might completely fluke a draw somewhere but I'm expecting us to keep losing without much of a whimper. There is literally no positives you can take from the first 2 games, at all.
  15. The it wasn't just Almiron, yes he's supposed to be supporting Jolinton as the second forward, but no one was getting forward for attacks and no one was tracking back in defence, not just off the pace, there was no desire to be involved. Loving the laid back training sessions though, such a laugh and Geordie Brewcie is a great guy so that should get us to 40 points, easy
  16. Every single attack and our players are ambling back watching the Norwich players run past them, it's beyond embarrassing, not one of them cares except Dubravka.
  17. Hardly a scathing attack, that was one of the worst performances I've ever witnessed and barely a peep.
  18. Partly think this was half the reason he was hired, they knew he was no good and would probably take the heat off Ashley for a while. Turn the concentration on to Bruce and away from the real issue. Probably why Charnley has got a lot more vocal recently too because he knows he's inciting hatred and again that takes focus away from Ashley and on to another of his patsy shoe lickers. This is so true. Every move Ashley makes and all the sound bites that come out come through Bishop. There's a reason behind these mad choices. Bruce will have been bought in for the Geordie angle and to take some focus off Ashley no doubt about it. Bishop is running this shitshow and he has 45k brainwashed zombies hanging off his every word Ashley Bishop Charnley Bruce They are all complict in this and all as big a Cunt as each other Absolutely but the cancer needs cut out at the source, he knows that watering down the anger will ease the pressure. He's just skulked off into the background again and left Brewcie and Charnley to take the hits. Look at the Pardew era, everyone left him alone, everyone hated Pardew, he just wants a repeat of that, supporters paying him a fat wedge to moan at the manager and leave him to swim in the money like scrooge mcduck
  19. It would take a multitudinous set of lucky/clever decisions/circumstances to get us anywhere near the solid foundations Rafa had us built upon. 3 years work dismantled in 2 months and it's a long road back and one that won't be taken by choice. Ashley is pig headed enough to believe NUFC in its current guise is still worth North of £350m though, we need it to cost him money to run before he jacks it in to the highest bidder. Totally agree. Even the basic stuff like squad value. Rafa had Longstaff worth £35m, Schar worth north of £20m, Lascelles north of £20m, Perez north of £30m. There's £100m of assets right there. After a month of Bruce Longstaff would be lucky to fetch £12m, Schar £6m and Lascelles £10m. Good job they sold Perez when they did . He's honestly completely fucked it this time. Utter utter clown. How the fuck he ever became a Billionaire is beyond me. Rafa was worth his weight in gold, but he was a pesky medler and we can't have none of that. Ashley will happily cut off his nose to spite his face because any "mistakes" can be fixed with a "short term loan". We'll go down, he'll look to bounce back up, everyone will declare he's turned a new leaf and learned from his mistakes (Except NO). Trouble is, this model is unsustainable, we're already being overtaken regularly by newly promoted teams, the upper half of the Championship are showing more ambition that us, spending more than us, sooner rather than later we'll go down and we won't bounce back up and then we'll slowly sink into the mire we made.
