  1. Why have you been touching your daughters best friend?
  2. Rafa’s gonna give Bruce 50m of his own money to spend in January? This one is my favourite: https://twitter.com/SamChipperfield/status/1191423073200869378?s=19
  3. His record at Newcastle is better than Rafa, so far. Can you read? I said if he'd have been given financial support, what has last season got to do with this one? It's an inane stat used to beat one of the best managers we've ever had with. Absolute mug.
  4. I don't think it was just a case of pretending. With Rafa we had a crucial and powerful force within the club fighting against that current, that gave us a hope and a stake. This is it for me as well. When Rafa was here I knew he would fight for the sporting side of club with tooth and nail, he understood the fans and had the necessary leverage to force Ashley to go against his will. With the way he saved the club and built a bridge between the club and fans again I thought there was no way Ashley would be so stupid to gamble on not retaining him and eventually cave in to Rafas demands re: training facilities and transfer policy but for the umpteenth time I underestimated his ego. If Rafa couldn't force a change with the leverage and support within the club he had then nobody can. It has to be us fans that does it, and the only way to do it is to abandon the club until he hasn't got a choice but sell. Good results are only hindering the progress of the club so I'm just annoyed when we win or draw. Spot on, within the club there's only 2 people that can try and force Ashley on footballing matters, the manager and the MD and both are slimy arselick shills now. I always want the team to win but it'll get us nowhere and achieve nothing so it's pointless.
  5. Boils my piss we've got this cabbage headed snake instead of Rafa this season, if we'd have kept Rafa and gave him anything resembling a transfer fund we could have done something this season. Outside of Liverpool, City, Leicester and Chelsea everyone else is beatable. A season where top 6 is truly up for grabs for a club with a modicum of ambition and we take a big leap backwards.
  6. Yea, i still slightly feel something, but not much at all. The only reason wins will be good is if the fat cunt sells us in the premier league. Its the epitome of catch-22, we're a more attractive deal in the PL but if we stay up it vindicates Ashley's decision making and he'll be happy to trudge on doing the same thing. Go down and stay down and we become a weight around his neck and a money pit with no value to his brand, but we're likely to only get chancers wanting to buy us looking for a quick buck if they can get us back in the PL. Win or lose, it means nowt in the greater scheme of things other than proving a point. Glad we won but not really bouncing like I would be if it was Rafa.
  7. Not a coincidence that Ashley gets locals on the payroll to sugarcoat his crap ownership. Shola, Carver, Beardsley and Concur previously. Now Bruce and Carroll to cement the unholy alliance for the next 12 months and wipe clean all memory of the dastardly ambition of Rafa Benitez. Its an horrific joke because so many absent minded supporters will take these idols word as gospel without a single challenge or attempt at research for themselves. Just wheel out another has been and get them back on side.

  9. It was brilliant Very rare to watch a game that really grips you when you've no vested interest. Would love to enjoy one of our games and enjoy it that much again
  10. What a quality game of football, entertaining start to finish

  13. I watch the games which are on the telly because I find it fascinating discovering how shit Bruce really is. I never really knew much about him before he rocked up here, but have always had an uninformed opinion that he was absolutely clueless. Seems to have been a pretty good call so far. Up until the Chelsea game I had only watched about 30 minutes of us this season, that was enough to make an informed decision. I watched the whole Chelsea game at work, safe to say I won't put myself through that masochistic endeavour again any time soon. Ashley stopping me going to the games now this clown stopping me watching them. I watched most of our games under Pardew too, they were rough, he was horrific, but at least we won some games and occasionally played well and had some decent players to enjoy. I can't bare to watch what's on display at the moment, sickening.
  14. Bruce will try and fiddle with the formation again, 4-4-fucking-2 and we'll lose without a shot on target
  15. He will not be involved going forward. We can still flog him though, right?
  16. Saturday night, 2 hours after the end of a game and this forum is dead, well done Ashley, you've destroyed everything. There was a time when you couldn't keep up with the posts on here on a match day.
  17. To be fair we weren't terrible until Bruce started meddling and it all went to shit. Dogged display but we could have played all day and not scored, maybe Rafa was right about Joelinton, crazy right?
  18. I see he's singling out Almiron to get the knuckle draggers onside
  19. I said something similar in the Rafa thread... People on facebook/twitter responding to these quotes saying "mind your own business" and "wish he'd fuck off keep talking about us". These are the sort of people we're dealing with at our club ffs. Siding with Ashley man. How do you even reason with these idiots? Its utterly baffling like. They hang on every word of proven liars whilst ignoring decorated legends such as Rafa and people with a modicum of understanding and research ability.
  20. Seen HF wrote a piece in The Mag about where the club's money is going, the responses on Twitter are so we're actually back to fans backing Ashley. Two in particular calling Chris a mackem and a wind up merchant, so I had to wade in but feel like I'm smashing my head against a brick wall. One has in his bio "Brucies Black & White army" and the other "Personally responsible for bringing down the Magpie Group" with his 64 followers. I need to disengage for my own sanity. Far too many idiots coming out the woodwork slating Rafa and defending Ashley and Brewcie, we're never going to amount to anything, everything is bad forever.

    Joelinton

Afaik Rafa only said no due to the fee, rather than not rating his ability or potential. Correct, he said he was a good player with potential but only rated him as £20m which prompted Ashley to claim he offered the difference out of his own pocket
  22. Apparently yesterday was a more attacking version of it Steve Bruce put an “attacking twist on it” according to our local journalists. Clearly not club PR. The PR from his cronies in the press, Caulkin included sadly, has been putrid today. Absolutely putrid. Really? What (unexpected) crap did Caulkin come out with? He was bigging up the nice guy image and saying criticism levelled at him on social media was unfair and extreme. He didn't go full Edwards (you never go full Edwards) but it was enough to raise an eyebrow, lost a little respect for Caulkin today for shame.
