Controversial, but if there was a greater divide in prize money as the top 6 wanted then maybe teams would try harder to break into that? I see the logic, but by increasing the prize money for the top 6 places, you automatically strengthen those teams already in it, thus making it harder for those outside of it to break in. It's a tough one to call because you don't want disparity but at the same time there needs to be incentive to try and challenge for outside the top 4

Outclassed, the better team with the better players won, our players didn't really fault tonight but just weren't good enough. I think they can come out of that with pride in what they put into it and it wasn't a thrashing. Lascelles so lucky at the end there! Hopefully Slimani will be back soon and the "easier" matches will help us pull away from the bottom. Chalk it off and move on to the next game.

Was never confident, even at 2-0 and if we feel like that, you can sense the nervousness in here at 2-0 after half time, you've got to imagine that the players on the pitch have a similar feeling. We're never going to roast a team in this league, we're just not good enough, so even at 2-0 there's still a massive risk. It's shit and it feels like a loss but we aren't good enough, simple as that, Rafa has been telling us that all season and a 1-0 valiant victory against manure doesn't make us a different team all of a sudden. 4 points against Bournemouth and Manure is more than acceptable and had the results been the other way round we'd all be buzzing. We're edging closer to safety, we'll limp over the line eventually.

Theoretically it would make more sense for the viewer to have all the games in one package and only pay one set fee, however I'd imagine if Sky had exclusive rights to all games the price of that package would sky rocket exponentially making it more expensive than 2 separate entities.

I was going to add a big, long reply on how Rafa isn't to blame for this but I can't be arsed, if you're buying Ashley's media buddies bullshit agenda then you're thicker than I give you credit for. No. Fuck off, that's a perfectly reasonable post. The blame is 95% Ashley but you still can't argue that Rafa has made some bewildering substitutions, or made them too late, and put out a few questionable line-ups. see my other post, this is a pointless argument because he's made just as many positive interventions/selections/tactics that are keeping us in with a shout of staying up and if he'd been allowed 1 or 2 of his choices we'd probably be fine now Exactly, people were scratching their heads and screaming at the TV with his subs on Sunday, I for one didn't understand them but it probably saved us a point as it eased off the pressure for the final 10-15 minutes. He might not always get it right but he's a damn genius that knows a damn sight more than us.
