  1. According to BBC News, this year will be the final year for the Hillsborough memorial. Tbf it's about time they let it go and moved on from it.
  2. Exactly. But it's the same mugs that fall for the carrot and keep chasing after it in hope. Empty words and promises, plus we shouldn't "expect" we'll get vilified.
  3. A labotomised, paraplegic Sloth has more athleticism than our current lot.

The teams doing shite at the moment I know what we should do, attack the one player that's played the least minutes, on twitter. Fuck me, even the supporters have been Pardewed now.
  5. I'd like to believe McClaren, being part of the board, is fully aware of what's happening in the transfer window and doesn't need to be vocal about it to put pressure on the rest of the board. I realise he has a gagging order on him from Ashley to prevent certain prices going up, however McClaren also has a duty to the paying fans to convey a message of understanding and realisation of where we're at and what we need to do to survive and thus keeping quiet just brings back memories of previous windows and the mistrust that goes with it. I hope he knows what he's doing and I hope it's all in hand, I'm not quite ready to call him a coward but it's getting close now. IF we bring no one of worth or need in this January and IF he doesn't leave in protest then yes he's a massive coward. #Wait AGAIN ffs!
  6. It's one of those games where you expect a dry arse fucking and they go and surprise you and bring the lube. A promising, consistent, battling defeat 3-1. 2-0 in the first half and then a "magnificent" second half display of a goal a piece.
  7. Happy New Year fuckers! It's been a shitty year to be a Newcastle United supporter but we've got through it together, if it wasn't for the N-O family I think I'd have fallen out of love with it all together. Here's to a better 2016

We could literally be bottom with one game to go and be within a 10 goal margin and 3 points to safety and he'd be telling us it was all to play for ffs

They've played about 5 games between them They literally couldn't be any worse tho Crazy idea, why would you use two natural left sided players on the left side?? Insane! Aye it might turn out horse shit but when you're staring down the barrel anything is worth a try, they aren't world beaters but adding a bit of width and choice to our attack making us less predictable must be worth a try at least.

    Steve McClaren

Hm. There comes a point, as there did with Pardew, that a manager's shitness can not and no longer should be tolerated regardless of the consequences of ousting him. I'd say McClaren isn't miles away from that, a couple of heavy defeats in the next few games Inc a cup exit and he's got to go. I think the press will be doing the hounding as they don't seem to care much for McClaren (failed England manager - they will never forgive him). They give less of a shit about us so probably won't bat an eyelid about us being where we belong.

There are varying degrees of shit and until Ashley goes we will always be shit it's just once a manager reaches a certain point you're just flogging a dead horse into oblivion. As you say a few more heavy defeats and out of the cup at the first hurdle and you've got to think we'd be better off without him.
  12. Parish today in the papers saying he wouldn't stand in Pardew's way if Real Madrid came calling for him  That would be comedy GOLD!!
  13. Glad you're back, mate thanks man, was in a bit of a personal grim one, but feeling better now. Good to be back Good to see you back ManDoon, hope all is well now

    Graham Carr

Absolutely spot on. Bingo. We can't be having that kind of logical, independent thought going on in here, clearly Pardew is a mastermind and we were shackling him with the players.
  15. Looks like a regular league run for us. Don't think I'll even bother watching the score for this one on the BBC website at work. Clearly going to get mullered
  16. RIP Pav, truly an adopted Geordie and a part of a golden era in our footballing history. Gutted, thoughts go to his family in this tough time.
  17. Glad I'm working for this one after reading this shit, sick of the same shit every week, we're truly fucked aren't we?
  18. some real bipolar shit goes on in here sometimes.

  20. He's clearly got promise, he's had a few good games and got into some promising positions but he's just not clicking. This is what you get when you buy cheap foreign youth with potential, you're rolling the dice on league position. I think he'll come good, he's still young and has a lot to learn, it doesn't help that he's in a team that is lacking in skill, leadership, confidence and moral though, that's never a good situation to go in to. We needed someone who could walk into the side and start scoring, not potential future prospects that could make us some money down the line.
  21. We played alright in the second half, so he has a point. What does "we'll be fine" even mean? Our stated target before the season was top 8. Has it been changed to PL survival already? Didn't he say the other day that 8th had admittedly been an overambitious target (in a league with Leicester, Palace and Watford in the top seven)? He did? I must have missed that. But as you point out, the PL is quite open, especially this year. Had we had our affairs in order we could have easily been in the running for European football. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/dec/25/newcastle-united-steve-mcclaren-top-eight-premier-league-target-relegation Even the URL says we're targeting relegation
  22. We played alright in the second half, so he has a point. Still one shot on target at home. You obviously are happy being served shit and chips every match. Well of course not like, we were shit in the first half, but in the second half we look good and were the better team. Let me ask you this. What have you seen of McClaren to suggest he's the right man for the job? Because frankly i'm struggling to see any positives. I hated this argument with Pardew because he was a shite excuse for a human being and a shite excuse for a manager, but who would realistically "coach" a team for the fuckwitts in charge here and who would our bunch of windowlickers have actually heard of to interview for the position? No I don't think he's good enough but I also don't think we'd have the brains or capitol to bring in the right man for the job. The best we can hope for is McClaren realises how fucked he is and quits and we stumble on a decent manager.
  23. They tried but the quality is lacking. We don't have anyone who can pick a pass out or who can finish consistently. Other teams will strengthen and if we don't get it right and spend some serious money we'll get relegated. It's a joke we're not looking at the defence in January, but if we get someone of quality in the midfield we'll get through. However I'm worried they seem to be concentrating on a winger and a striker. I mean obviously we need a natural goal scorer, I would definitely take Austin right now, proven to score goals on the PL and we definitely need more width on the left but that shouldn't be job done though I reckon they'll feel it is.
  24. Should have done better for the goal but wouldn't have been such a glaring mistake had the defence done their job right. Got some good stops in, got down quick for that outstretched arm to his right.
