  1. I can't see anything but a loss here tbh, a spirited loss by a small margin would be a decent result (yes we've fallen that far) so we can take some confidence into a must win Villa game, a draw would be a great result so long as we could get those points at Villa.

I have to agree a Manager should be able to put his best players in the right place, it works through all management placements in any work force. However I also agree that a good manager does not live by "my way or the highway" either and should listen to his staff (players) if there are concerns, it's not a sign of weakness, no one is infallible. I can't knock him for that approach, however he's clearly not the right man for the job, even if he is doing the best he can with what he's got.

The only thing that's going to rid us of this fat slug is the implosion of the Premiership "brand" as has been said, it's unsustainable and eventually the money will dry up as it has in other countries. We'll end up being a Serie A trying to re-identify itself and I can't wait for the day.
  4. I'd take a draw and I agree that beating Villa is just as important due to relevant league positioning. It's a stereotypical 6 pointer.
  5. This isn't true. Parker & Milner had the crowds on their back for a lack of ability, creative flair and they worked their socks off. Until Ashley came and made people believe we where total s*** and lucky to be in the division the SJP crowd was very rough. Players that tried hard and didn't hide but didn't have great ability on the ball often got some stick. Looking backing they would be better served doing a Jenas (hiding, not take responsibility) or a Dyer (feign injury). Actually, it's best to hide and somehow work hard ala Colback Both of those players were employed creatively when they were criticised. Parker was universally loved when he was more of a defensive midfielder in his first season, Milner was a right winger who only looked any good when he moved to Villa and was played in the middle. Aye but they where tryhard Englishmen with average ability and the crowd got on their backs. If you're an creative player who is not doing it. The crowd got on you. Didn't matter where you where from. Pedantic, I know, but there is a difference between where and were and it's driving me mad here.
  6. Front Page: Ashley is a blot on humanity, not indicative of British business and a blight to humankind bringing back slave labour. Back Page: NUFC would have been of the same fate as Leeds or even Portsmouth if it hadn't have been for the generosity of Mike Ashley who steadied a financially sinking ship.
  7. We've already got the 3 points we absolutely had to get out of the three matches up to Christmas so anything in this game is a bonus.
  8. I just saw this and the other guy that said if they lose to us he'd get the score tattooed on himself. Should be some amusing pics/vids on twitter tomorrow. Cocky little bin dipping shits!
  9. Liverpool were dogshit, if they had scored in that first half it would have been game over. Luckily they were turd and allowed us to grow in confidence. We always seem to be able to get ourselves "up" for games like these, I don't fancy us to continue this form but I think we'll give it a good shot against Tottenham, probably scrape a draw and them come short against Villa again. But GTFI, fuck you Liverpool

  11. Gerraway man. Eh? In what way would working for Mike Ashley suit David Moyes perfectly? He'd have to have completely lost his marbles to even consider it. To be fair, anyone would have to have lost their marbles to even consider it, so where do we go? Who do we hope for? Someone who has no marbles? I don't know, is this a trick question?
  12. So Steve, what happened with your players and Liverpool? BUMHOLE

    Steve McClaren

It's a bad state of affairs though when it's clear he can't lead the team and McClaren knows this, falls out with him over his lack of effort/leadership and yet he still wears the armband.

In case anyone hasn't read the latest piece:
  15. Tbf this is the kind of game our players seem to magically get themselves motivated for. Still fancy us to get a dicking, but a hard fought dicking though.
  16. Harsh, cunts are useful
  17. Tbf he looks genuinely embarrassed to be winning that if you hadn't noticed
  18. If the Telegraph piece is accurate then this is by far the worst decision they've ever made, the worst thing we could do is to do nothing at all! I can't say I'd be surprised but that would be premier league suicide.

I like what you did there. Really wish I'd gone for "Drivel" now tbh, but I was in a hurry. Dillusion would have sufficed also.

    Chancel Mbemba

Tbf I think it's tough to judge him when all around him is burning ashes, he can't exactly marshal the back line and the centre-mid on his own. He has no protection in front of him and an ageing lump of horse shite next to him.

  22. At least he'd be beautiful to watch rather than a balding ginger with a questionable accent.

    Alan Shearer
