I can't see us getting Brown at the moment, but if we get Baines and the other two i'd be quite pleased.

It seems to me as if WHU don't get a hefty transfer fee then they didn't own him last season, hence, this surely proves they should have been docked points. Doesn't it?

The thing is with our strikers, they haven't played together so everything is just guess work really. What I should have said before is - potentially the second best but in reality.... who knows. Although I have faith, so, aye second.

I think you have to include Rohnaldo in Man Utd's as he played a lot as part of a front three last year. To be honest it has to be Man Utd if he's included. If we keep everyone fit( mackems.gif) i'd say us second.

Not sure about how many each player will get but looking at the players - on paper - they should get close to what's being predicted. Hoy in the other players (defenders) and if we keep (quite a few) more clean sheets than last year, it could be a canny year coming up.

I'm holding back until it's been officially confirmed. (Pessimistic I know but hey, who can blame me eh?)

All we need now is 3 defenders and I'll be feeling a bit better.

The more I think about it, i'm not that against Smith signing as long as we continue to rebuild the defense. Smith will give us a bit more bite wherever he play's. It's time we got a little bit more nasty with teams. Last year all our best results were against the top teams, but we were $hite against the lesser teams (Smogs, Sheff Utd, Charlton ect). Much of this was down to Roeder's lack of motivational skills (it doesn't take much motivation against the glamour teams, but it's a testament to a managers skill how well he motivates his players against the lesser teams), but it was also down to us being, well sort of bullied out of games against teams fighting for their position in the league.

I've nowt against Sam having people over for trials. As long as if they sign they're better than what we've already got.

His source, another message board I presume, also names the 4th player as Mark 'moped legs' Delaney. Hope your taking the pi$$.
