I heard O'Neil gave Richardson a rubber ring to sit on yesterday. Not saying it's true, just passing on what i heard

I liked... 2. SAFC fans are obsessed with them rather than just not caring about them Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=678592#ixzz1o3AX6mV4 Aye they care so little they make up a thread asking for 100 reasons to hate us. Tossers.

I think there are a lot of people now thinking we have chance of getting into Europe despite Pardew, not because of him. When a lot of us can see (even without our black and white goggles on) that some of our players (Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Afa etc), are capable of so much more than they are showing. And others (Ba and such) are not being used to the best of their capabilities. When you look at the players we have, we surely must have a better chance of success trying to play foorball rather than hoofball. For me thats the worrying thing. If Pardew can't see it then i can't really see us progressing much.

The last time i took wor lass to a game we were playing a team with a caretaker manager. That was last season against Villa. I've already got tickets to take wor lass to Wolves game. Good omen?

Shearer caretaker till just before the Euros, then saggy face takes over with Shearer his no.2 ready to take over when saggy either quits/gets pushed . Not what i think should happen like, just whats a possibility.

That's the best bit of buisness we could do this summer

The only thing getting boring is the way FCB is ripping this club to shreads. If you want to bring success to a club you build around the best young players at that club. You do not sell them. ronaldo at man utd, anelka at arsenal, torres at liverpool ? Conversely, Scholes and Gerrard. They didn't ask to leave though.
-
Would be very happy with that. Can't see it like. But we can hope.

All this "he lied" "no he lied" stuff is a load of shite to be honest. BOTH parties are equally to blame. The club could have turned down both the bid and the transfer request. But Carroll, who says he loves the club blah blah blah, DID NOT have to hand in a transfer request. Both are shithouses in my opinion.

Yeah and then Shola to miss them His shot to goal ratio is near enough the same as Carrolls this season If this is true, i stand corrected

Yeah and then Shola to miss them

West Ham agree fee in region of £15m with Liverpool for Andy Carroll
beardsleymagic replied to Pilko's topic in Football
Considering it's 'Arry that wants him, i fully expect the FA to issue us with a 30pts deduction if we don't sell Carroll to them by 11pm th'morn. Sorry forgot it's Spurs. By anytime next week. -
I can understand both arguments here. The thing is though, the whole Given saga is a bit like you're with a lass for a good few years, everything's great. she's faithful and you both get on great. Then when you're company's has been taken over by a total twat and there's a good chance that you'll lose your job and then probably you're house, she turns around and tells you she's moving in with the flash git down the road who's just won the lottery. Maybe not the greatest analogy, but you know what i mean .

Anybody got a link for that song "Face Like A Fucking Melted Plastic Scrotum". I can't remember who it was by like.
-
Aye, and he only delivers once a year as well.

Dropping him would be a stupid knee jerk reaction. He's young for fucks sake. What young keeper hasn't made a mistake, hopefully he'll learn from it. What type of message would that be to our young players? It would mean nobody would try something for fear of cocking it up and then being dropped. Therefore our young players wouldn't develop. Of course they would then be sold on to a "lesser" team, play with a bit more freedom, look 10 times the player they were here and be sold for an inflated fee. At which point the ones calling for the likes of Krul to be dropped with no doubt rant on about how we sold them for a pittance and why can't we develop young players like other teams blah blah blah.

Daily Mail: Qatar group interested in Newcastle buyout
beardsleymagic replied to a topic in Football
From another board... "lee_ryder Lee Ryder #nufc I understand there is no truth whatsoever in the talk of an NUFC takeover by Qatari investors despite reports this morning". Make of that what you will. -
Five and a half year contract so that if (and unfortunately if a fucking big IF), the fat twat sells the club anytime in the near future, he mate gets a big payoff from the new owners when they replace him.

OFFICIAL WELCOME TO NUFC Mr PARDEW THREAD.
beardsleymagic replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
I'm not a big believer in psychic ability, but i'm willing to give anything a go now. Here's my suggestion. When the ref blows for the start of the match, every supporter starts willing Ashley to spontaneously combust. A long shot i know, but a one i think is worth a go. -
OFFICIAL WELCOME TO NUFC Mr PARDEW THREAD.
beardsleymagic replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Before people start with the "oh give him a chance" shite, remember if the reports are true, we will be with this smug get for FIVE AND A HALF YEARS!!!! There is not a hope in hell that Ashley will sack "one of the boys". -
Sounds like a southern Phil Brown.

So, it looks like Alan Pardew. Hardly the expected choice to "take the club forward". But the question is, will he get a fair crack of the whip? My answer... FUCK NO!!!! I know there will be some people who think you have to support the club no matter what. But there is a difference between supporting the team and supporting the club. I will ALWAYS support the team, no matter what. But the club, NO. My reason for this is that the club is no longer Newcastle United. Ashley has ripped it apart at the seams. We are a Premier club being run like a part-time pub team. Who will want to come and play for us? Who will want to still play for us i suppose is a better question. Make no mistake about it, this is only the start. I fully expect departures in January. The team spirit that has covered up flaws in some games must surely have been affected. This disgraceful "jobs for his mates" attitude of Ashley has never, NEVER brought anything but trouble. The last time we where relegated, has this fuckwitt not learnt anything? And on to Pardew. If the rumours are correct, a "buddy" of Ashley and Labiarse from the casino. Who, if the reports are right has been in discussions with the two tits for about ten days. So at least we've got a manager we can be proud of eh? Like a gamble, and doesn't mind trying to get another managers job while he is still in it. All in all, a complete fucking shambles. Unfortunately i was stupid enough to buy a season ticket, and will still go and support the team. But if this joke of a owner is still in charge next season, this will be my last. I could go on, but i'm too sick and tired. Maybe that's what Ashley's relying on everybody feeling.
