  1. While I agree in an ideal world we would stick with a manager through the bad times, there also has to be some sort of reason behind this other than "stability". This could come in various forms such as, players all pulling together for the manager or style of play. In the case of the players, I don't honestly think (in my opinion) that they are. We know Colo had a fall out with him, Pardew said so himself and Cabaye doesn't look happy at all. This of course, is all just my opinion but watching the team play, it doesn't look like a team that knows their own teammates names let alone what they are supposed to be doing on the pitch. This then brings me onto the second, and most important point.... style of play. Or should I say, lack of it. We seem to have the mentality of sit back for 80mins, then hope Cisse scores in the last few minutes. Regardless of the opposition. When was the last time we dominated a game? How many times have we won by 2 goals? Then there is the set pieces. If Cabaye doesn't score direct, we don't score. And everyone knows about the corner situation. If we are behind/level/in front (yeah righto) with 15mins to go... Hoy on Shola. Why? When was the last time he has done anything bar give away fouls? Our shape goes more and more out the window with every substitution he makes, it's infuriating. And that is it for me, Pardew just doesn't learn from what is happening. Everyone can call his subs 10mins before he makes them. If we can do it, so can the opposing manager. This obviously makes us a lot easier to play against. The bottom line for me is, either Pardew can't see the mistakes he's making, in which case he should go. Or he, like the rest of us, can see what's going wrong but doesn't know how to fix it, in which case he should go.
  2. Just fuck off Pardew!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I can't believe that he's not getting any stick in the media over the last few results. Baffling.
  4. Exactly. This is why I can't agree with the people who are willing to give him next season to see if he can turn it around. He's had 2 and a halfish seasons to put it right, but we are going backwards in terms of style of play and effectiveness. Souness showed how quickly you can destroy a good team with just a few departures and bad signings. This talk (if true) of "big men" doesn't sound like a man who is trying to implement a style of play that suits the majority of our players. We will not be the only ones who notice this, our better players won't hang around for ever playing hoofball and fighting relegation. Sorry, for me he has to go at the end of the season.
  5. I've got a theory... he's a fucking idiot!
  6. Was just wondering, what are peoples pro's and con's for getting rid of him? Might get a clearer picture from this because I am struggling to think of many con's at the minute.
  7. I think most people on here would agree that we could do with some fresh blood. I'm not overly criticizing our current coaching staff by the way, I just think it's a fairly small team. I also think some new ideas and more specialised training would really make a difference. So... to get to the point, who would you suggest we should try and recruit to the coaching staff?
  8. Everything that's being said on here since yesterday can be summed up in one simple word...... Go!
  9. I won't hold it against him for going. Just as long as he goes quickly without a whole load of media stories about Pardew telling him not to go, then his "agent" saying he wants to. Then 1 minute before the deadline, he fucks off leaving us in the shitter again. With the right forward/wide left type of player hopefully brought in (yeah righto), we might be a better all round team.
  10. The thing is while its true that lack of investment is a big problem, the main thing for me is the tactics this season have been terrible and thats down to pardew
  11. That's been the problem with much of this season. Most other teams play a 4-5-1/4-3-3 sytem, meaning Tiote and Cabs are outnumbered all of the time. We need to give them a chance and even up the numbers in the middle of the park. Then we should see them come into some better form and influence games like they can.
  12. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was doing such a great job Also i hear there's one Mr Steven Bruce looking for a job. We can hope.
  13. And i'll raise you with... the fuck???
  14. I don't think i've ever seen such a "head in the sand" type manager as Kean. Every week it always an excuse, it's never the fact that they were not good enough. Even against us at St James' i remember him saying how unlucky they were and a couple of our goals should'nt have stood. Comes across as a bit of a plank to be honest.

Very true. However a lump of shite with glitter on, is still a lump of shite
  16. I heard O'Neil gave Richardson a rubber ring to sit on yesterday. Not saying it's true, just passing on what i heard

I liked... 2. SAFC fans are obsessed with them rather than just not caring about them Read more: http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=678592#ixzz1o3AX6mV4 Aye they care so little they make up a thread asking for 100 reasons to hate us. Tossers.

    Alan Pardew

I think there are a lot of people now thinking we have chance of getting into Europe despite Pardew, not because of him. When a lot of us can see (even without our black and white goggles on) that some of our players (Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Afa etc), are capable of so much more than they are showing. And others (Ba and such) are not being used to the best of their capabilities. When you look at the players we have, we surely must have a better chance of success trying to play foorball rather than hoofball. For me thats the worrying thing. If Pardew can't see it then i can't really see us progressing much.
  19. The last time i took wor lass to a game we were playing a team with a caretaker manager. That was last season against Villa. I've already got tickets to take wor lass to Wolves game. Good omen?
  20. Shearer caretaker till just before the Euros, then saggy face takes over with Shearer his no.2 ready to take over when saggy either quits/gets pushed . Not what i think should happen like, just whats a possibility.
  21. That's the best bit of buisness we could do this summer
  22. The only thing getting boring is the way FCB is ripping this club to shreads. If you want to bring success to a club you build around the best young players at that club. You do not sell them. ronaldo at man utd, anelka at arsenal, torres at liverpool ? Conversely, Scholes and Gerrard. They didn't ask to leave though.
  23. Would be very happy with that. Can't see it like. But we can hope.

All this "he lied" "no he lied" stuff is a load of shite to be honest. BOTH parties are equally to blame. The club could have turned down both the bid and the transfer request. But Carroll, who says he loves the club blah blah blah, DID NOT have to hand in a transfer request. Both are shithouses in my opinion.
