  1. poor result but we're still 10th in the league
  2. not Hughton, which is a breath of fresh air
  3. We were never going to get an easy path to the final. It just doesnt happen. Arsenal will play some reserves now, as opposed to if we met them later on. We have a chance against anyone at home imo. If we lose, we go out and dont waste any more time on it. however, if we can beat chelsea away, we can beat anyone. that should be the mentality.
  4. I've just come back from the Sukru Sarcacoglu stadium where I witnessed Fenerbahce v Besiktas! The only other interesting stadium is Estadio de Luz (Benfica).
  5. does this include freeSAT? I dont have a sky subscription but we do have the sky digibox
  6. The draw would be nice to be honest, keep both teams down with us
  7. wolves, blackpool, stoke losing. west ham and bolton drawing, WBA and sunderland drawing. If that stays the same then great!
  8. "Love?" was the Irish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, performed in English by Donna and Joe. LÖVE is a free cross-platform 2D framework for computer games development. It is completely driven by the Lua programming language. ove (사랑 - Sarang) is a 2007 South Korean film directed by Kwak Kyung-taek. Kwak Kyung-taek's most notable film is Chingoo. A Love stars Ju Jin-mo from 200 Pounds Beauty and Park Si-yeon. score of zero in tennis or squash; but perhaps more appopriately: be enamored or in love with; "She loves her husband deeply"
  9. Do you love Newcastle united? I for one don't. I personally think its really cringeworthy when you hear plastic chelsea fans kissing the badge on their shirt and saying "I am in love with this club". Footballers as well: fair enough for Shearer, Le Tissier, Gerrard et al but not for those who bang on about loving a club before getting a big money transfer elsewhere. I'm not going to begrudge anyone genuine using the term, but for me I would never use this term in a footballing context. I support my team, I follow my team but I do not love my team. I love my family. Any thoughts?
  10. It's worth mentioning that we conceded 3 to derby last season, 4 to west brom and 2 to blackpool and scunthorpe. Our (arguably) hardest away game has gone and we lost 3-0, just after chelsea lost 3-1. We are an average-poor premier league team and these results are going to come. I'd be more worried if we lost 4-0 at home to blackpool. They should really be the ones worrying about their performance. West Ham and West Brom were also very poor

So which bar is the longest anyway?
  12. looking forward to hearing "stand up for the champions" being sung
  13. Let's hope for a spirited performance at OT tomorrow, thats the least we can expect. Birmingham finished 10th (11th?) last season with a poor squad and steven carr as their captain. on paper, we are at least as good as them and so it all depends on Hughton and team spirit

  16. Newcastle, Stoke, Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, West Brom, Blackpool, Sunderland, villa, west ham, wolves, birmingham = shite Man united, city, chelsea, liverpool, arsenal, everton, spurs = wankers
  17. winner in the 97th minute (after 3 minutes injury time) from owen handballing the ball into the net from an offside position after nani delivers an incorrectly given freekick

    Hatem Ben Arfa

So thats it then. Ben Afra stays at OM. only says that in a line at the end with no quotes from a french local paper
  19. i study in birmingham and have sat in the holte end a couple of times for villa games. the fans are absolutely unbelievable! the amount of abuse they gave their team when they drew 1-1 against sunderland was in my opinion, embaressing. not tarring all their fans with the same brush because that would be unfair but the overwhelming effect from the holte end was to boo, shout and generally get on the back of their manager and team. the abuse heskey got just for being subbed on was unbelievable
  20. "Who's your next messiah? Lenny Henry or Jaspar Carrott?"
