looking at this another way, the only thing that has happened since keegan left is that we have dropped 3 points against hull. if we got him back, the season would be back on track. obviously things arent quite as simple as that, but they neednt be too much more complicated.
-
some of the players wise has bought in are good, and if its those or keegan wanting smith, barton, milner rather than £12m, ronaldinho, lampard (reportedly) then we have to ask questions of keegan. couldnt we just castrate wise a bit, but still keep them there finding good players, and in an ideal world, keegan would accept them. but it just so happens NUFC isnt in an ideal world!

id probably prefer some big shot foreign guy, if we could get Zico then great. But, Ince, wise and poyet? keegan over them anyday. the guy plays good football, although id still be slightly suspicious.

Does anyone out there have any kind of confidence in Ashley at all?

if he is trying to get keegan back then fair play to him. however, mike ashley has taken too much stick imo for this debacle, whereas it seems that keegan despite being the legend he his seems to be the victim and takes none of the blame whatsoever from most. lets not forget ashley has paid off £100m of debt and has bought some good players in, if not spending a lot of money. -

why would kevin keegan be in your shower? -
mackems.gif we can all breath a sigh of relief after what hes put us through

Yeah it would be interesting to know how many people would want Keegan back under the current or even a revised system. I certainly wouldn't. He's had his chance, he chose to resign so it's time for us to move on. im really stuck in 2 minds. on the one hand hes had his chance but on the other hand hes about the only person who could get us playing proper football that the fans would give time to.
-
that would be absolutely fantastic but unfortunately for us it is absolutely ludicrous Nothing is impossible at this club, you should know that by now! it is absolutely ludicrous, and so probably will happen! i see your point

Spurs League Cup 24th Sept - the only match where a protest would count?

dont boycott any games. -
im not sure if us as fans know enough about wise and llambias's positions in order to say this tbh. im gutted that keegan appears to be sold short but im not sure if we know enough about the situation. (hopefully im not opening a can of worms)
-
glad someone agrees with me. just gutting that keegan is one of the few people left who wants to play football how it was meant to be- fairly and entertaining has been sold short.

Ive been thinking this for a long time, but I am hating premier league football more and more each day! I bought west ham v newcastle tickets a couple of days ago, and since then both managers have now resigned as a result of board conflicts! Each club is being run as a toy, supporters loyalty exploited and twats like frank lampard being paid £150k a week whilst we cant afford to get in! fed up. ill always be a NUFC fan, but other than interest in us i think ill start going to championship matches where for the time being its relatively unspoilt.
-
i wont be going to the hull game because i live down south. but i had intended earlier to get west ham tickets, and i have still ordered them despite this fiasco.

positive guys. id have been happy if wed gone in a goal to the good after a good performance. and it turns out weve shat all over them. -
agree completely with the prices, although £35 doesnt sound bad for what will probably be a win- all the clubs near me are more than that just to sit in the away stand! (chelsea £48, fulham £35, spurs £45, wham £36, even bloody crystal palace is £36 or something!)
-
the problem is too many of our goals coem from beckham set pieces. beckhams surely not going to be in the next tournament, so in a friendly like this why not put bentley, young or whoever in and plan for the future?
-
really, we need to focus on the positives. and by that i mean, smith didnt play any part in todays game!!!!!!!!!
