look on the official website, interview with big sam saying we must win etc. lets go and kill the bastards and whathaveyou rather than "lets draw 0-0"

i dont know what it used to be like because ive only been to 1 game- spurs this season. no atmosphere where i was (milburn a paddock) but the stadium in general had an imprssive atmosphere i thought. miles better than fulham, west ham and chelsea and better than white hart lane. not as loud as the nutters that go to the away games, but hey best atmosphere ive been to!!

ive seen one nufc game this season- spurs. he played quite well from the bench and scored a pretty good goal.

i voted no because the whole reason i hate chelsea is because their fans are a load of glory hunting little cunts who dont know shite about football. they spent ridiculous amounts of money, and just generally are hateable. i wouldnt want us turning into a bunch of wankers tbh. i still think we could spend all the money in the world and not win it though.

im quite amazed that a team of celebrities managed to get 4 goals against a professional team!!

Not sure why people are in shock. (We must stick with SA).

look on the sky sports newcastle page, theres a good discussion (http://www.skysports.com/video/0,20285,12606_2849254,00.html) they are comparing us to everton who managed themselves effectively and are now doing really well. they finished 15th a few seasons ago, lok now. i think sam is the right man but needs time. good luck to him i say, im sticking with my initial prediction of 8th this season, however as long as we finish above 11th ill be happy. -
its butt, see official website

2-0 you watch it.

yes, they put risk a lot of serious injuries and retire young, yes they have to deal with a load of fans on the street but £150000 per week is mental. i reckon for a player like john terry (the best) , £10000 a week should be the most. half a million a year is a bloody good salary. that way we can put ticket prices down so i dont have to go and pay £48 to sit in the corner at chelsea. £20 a ticket is a reasonable price. football is a rip off, but hey, what power have we got?

Do footballers really play too much football these days?
ChrisJbarnes replied to a topic in Football
well done that man. couldnt agree more!! i play football for more than 90 minutes at a time go in for dinner and come back out again!! being paid £150k a week for this is insane no matter how good you are, arguing over contracts even more so! -
i have noticed that (mostly) everyone here seems to be very pro- harper, but im sure if you look at the previous thread, everyone is saying given. i yoyo between the 2 and personally cant make my mind up but i must say shay has been bettr over the years, yet the defence seems to act better for harps. id love to see harps take the shirt tbh but not if its because of shay being injured. good luck to harps hope he defies the doubters.

yep and cahill just got 1 in extra time for everton

wow some strange results here- liverpool 2 cardiff 1, man city beat bolton (elano pen) arsenal and spurs and blackburn win but gotta feel sorry for leicester losing 4-3 aat stamford bridge after leading twice and shevchenko scoring in the 87th and 94th minute! everton luton looks goalless
-
he probably would, but who is the better manager?
-
everyones talking about the rubbish teams as the ones we need to win- i disagree. we need to beat the likes of man city, spurs, everton, villa, blackburn, pompey, cos they are the ones that i think will be challenging us for the 5th-8th ish positions. weve beaten spurs and everton (good) lost to man city (very bad) and drawn to villa, which is annoying.

YES!!! THIS!! i dont see why we need to change it, just go along and kill the opposition, regardless of who and where they are!!

Will Ashley/Mort bin Allardyce if we don't qualify for Europe this season?
ChrisJbarnes replied to Dave's topic in Football
ive said since allardyce's appointment, 8th is where we will finish this season. i stand by this, and believe we will finish there, and sam will keep his job. next season and the season after- uefa cup and after that then we start challenging for (but not necessarily gaining) champions league. any lower than 10th and i will be disappointed this season, but the sooner sam realises that attacking is the only way for us, we will be winning consistently away as well as home.
