Thought he played a good game.

I like how after every bit of Enrique news, no matter how related to Newcastle, someone always writes "I'd have him back" and then everybody else follows. I'd still have him back like.
-
Actually I find that all the groups look very fun right now. Looking so much forward to Europe. Group E btw!
-
He has been played on the wing for Copenhagen as well, but he is a left back. Not one directly for the first team, but close.
-
Everton is buying Bryan Oviedo from FC Copenhagen. Very decent young attacking left back.

Colo £15m Krul £20m HBA £25m Tiote £25m Cabaye £25m Cisse £30m Ba £15m Perch £50m Anything like that then we've really got to be accepting the loss and hopefully pick up a replacement next window. No

Does anybody actually know if he wants to come back?
-
That sounds like quite a good player actually.

That should be our best line-up without Hatem. Very happy. Does that mean there is confirmation on ba, cisse, cab, tiote, colo and santon? -

Sounds fairly positive in terms of Ba, Cisse, Cabaya, Ben Arfa etc playing. So best case: Krul Simpson - Taylor - Colo - Santon Cabaye - Tiote - Jonas Ben Arfa - Cisse - Ba Worst case: Krul Simpson - Taylor - Williamson - Santon Marveaux - Gosling - Perch - Jonas Ameobi - Vuckic something like that?? Imo the 4-3-3 highly depends on Ben Arfa, without him the squad is better suited to 4-4-2. -
Chelsea, missing CL will hurt Tottenham a lot more, especially this year, and make them more beatable for us in years to come.

Hey! Carr called it, bastards.

I voted yes for the first time.

Just realised Fulham can take 7th if results go our way. Been a long time since I looked so low in the table.

Win both; finish 3rd - says the law of poetic justice.

Fuck you tottenham.

Raylor left back, Perch midfield would be best for me.
-
Bolton scored 1-1 at least.

Wow, if something could epitomize this season it's this half. I feel like even if we lose I would be proud as hell, just like with this season.
-
Great post except for this bit; all of their players are suspended for the final True, but the 'don't give a fuck'-part still counts, and they could still be resting someone like drogba I guess.

Aren't people over reacting a little bit. We always knew this was a risk, it would be the same if english teams had done bad in europe the last couple of years and there was only 3 places to fight over. Chelsea are still not favorites to win, with the amount of suspensions they have, they either have to play Mourinho's Madrid or Bayern in München. There's a slightly bigger chance of us losing in the qualification, than chelsea winning this imo. WE are also very fortunate that we have to play them now, when they won't give a fuck about the league and maybe they'll even be resting players. Let's just focus on ourselves, seems like we just believe we'll fail and want to throw the blame on something that's beyond our control. We now have a genuine chance to make the Champions League and I look so much forward to us giving it our best, and hopefully succeeding. No matter what I'll be so fucking proud of the boys and will be looking forward to european football next season.

That Romains to be seen.

Brought peace!?

This feels a bit like the Tiote deal. Here's to hoping.
