turned out to be the best business the club ever done.... I would only take him back for very little money and as a 3rd choice striker. Do feel sorry for him...injuries have ruined what could have been a interesting career.

Best position for him now. And in order to keep him happy and dangerous he needs "a free role" when attacking.

Against Leicester i would like to see: Elliot Janmaat Mbemba Colo Dummett (Mbabu or Haidara if fit) Anita Sissoko Gini Thauvin Perez Mitrovic That central midfield is annoying me so much. Need to buy new CMs. Gini prefers to play in the middle - actually the place where Perez is playing. That is a problem coz in order to keep Gini happy i guess he wants to play in his preferred position. Playing him further back (CM) is not smart imo. He is better going forward.

Incredible game. Didn´t deserve to win or draw. Happy with the win obviously! Main problem is that central midfield. Need to buy 1 or 2 quality CMs. Please sell Anita, Colback and Tiote! LB position is also weak as piss.

it could have been an exciting game had he scored...even with 10 men i think we could have won it or at least got a draw.

He's exciting? i think so. Not fair to judge him yet. Needs to improve parts of his game tbh. Could be another Arfa but hope its not the case. He has shown really exciting stuff - but also the opposite i agree.

i also think McClaren is as good as it gets atm. Actually i like him - given time and players he can do a ok job here. What we should hope for is getting enough points to stay above relegation zone and not have lost touch with midtable come january. Hopefully Mike will sweat and spend money on reinforcements and players and McClaren knows each other better, which could see us having a good second half to the season.....

He is exciting - but hopefully he will have learned a lesson from loosing the ball too easily in a dangerous position. And his tracking back was a joke! Sort that out and he could be a great sub when opponents are getting tired. Thats his way into the team atm.

just seen the penalty incident again - Its not a penalty. Maybe Elliot could have come out faster...but without Colos challenge - Elliot would still get there first! poor ref - who changed the game. I do not believe we will go down. I have seen some good football from our players this season. Its a huge step forward from the last couple of seasons. There is still a lot of things to improve and we need to buy quality in january. 2-3 good players and we should be fine. DC and CM postions we need pure quality. If we can get some points stay above relegation zone im sure good players will buy into our project. Not much is needed to turn this around.

Suddenly things looks a lot brighter. Think we will win. Should play with patience - let they come at us without us defending too deep. They are at home so there will be space on the counter...which is were we are best imo. Probably same team. Not sure about cm positions and LB though.

Im sure McClaren would (if he could) have given time to De Jong and Thauvin as well. I hoped for it. But he needed to sub both Dummett and Tiote - both just came back from injury. So it was positive they got time as well. As long as Cisse is second choice on top he needs to feel loved as well. Can´t complain to much about that.

Can´t be left out when fit. Do not really blame Steve M. for letting him out - sometimes it takes some matches to find the right solution. Just happy for him and happy that we have so much quality on top and on the wings. We just need to sort out dcm positions and defence.

Before the game i hoped Tiote would start and do the dcm alone. Well i will never wish for that again...and he wasn´t even alone. Sell him...sell them all (Anita, Tiote, Colback) Gini

Well - i still haven´t given up - but a loss today would kill us, im afraid. Hard to see a way back should that happen. One of the easiest games on paper. If Tiote is fit im up for giving him a chance in DM with Anita and Gini in front of him. Sissoko and thauvin on the flanks...both are best on the right so swapping during the match... Perez behind Mitro LB - dunno. 2-0

A player who just so happens to be absolutely f***ing finished. Assuming Colo is on roughly 60k a week, we basically flushed 3m down the toilet when we gave Colo a new deal. Still though, better than spending 6 or 7 million on somebody who'd actually improve the team. Huge mistake. By replacing him you also replace the captain. It will only cause trouble. Colo might have to leave or be 120% professional and accept his delegation. Its difficult to sign a captain i guess? Should we sign a new captain in January. One who can play CB or DCM? Can´t see any candidates within our current squad...
