Joselu and Wilson leading the line for the two Madrid clubs
-
I don’t blame him for wanting the deal tbh. Probs got 2.5 years maximum left in his career, no major emotional tie to us. Likely no Europe here next year and a chance for easy trophies and to play with his old spurs mates again
-
My son got him on his shirt for Christmas ffs. Know it’s part and parcel of football but that’s rough for an 8 year old to take
-
McShane
-
Surely we accrued Hayden, Fraser, Hendrick and Lewis as onerous in the last accounts.
-
Sounds like West Ham are getting Smith Rowe on loan
-
Mope saying he’s turned down offer of a new contract. Cant see him leaving like. As good as he’s been, he’s not going to get a move to a bigger club then us.
-
I genuinely don’t think he wants to go, like. He came here when we were 19th and he’s been on a hell of a ride over the past couple of years with us. He loves the club and is loved by the club. If Real Madrid or Barcelona come knocking I can understand yeah, but PSG? Nah. Mind you, if he was genuinely wanting out because we’ve had a rough couple of months then maybe we’d be better off taking the money and reinvesting.
-
Yeah agree with this. Anything over a £3m loan fee with a c£25m option and it’s seeya later.
-
Well yeah I agree with that too. The owners want the players to stay there. I think if it was a case of us being a couple of points off 4th it would be a different story.
-
I mean, it absolutely is. If PIF want the players to come here then they will come here.
-
Excellent again today. Fair play to the bloke.
-
Thought Clattenburg was shite tonight. Didn’t let it flow at all. Mowbray on comms was excellent though.
-
Genuinely cant listen to that podcast as they get so much wrong on it. If you’re going to talk about the club at least get the basics right ffs.

Hi mate, not sure if you’re referring to me but I was a season ticket holder during the Ashley years. I had my season ticket for 15 years and had 145 away loyalty points (of which I actually went to pretty much all of those games). I lost my season ticket in 2019 because my wife was taken into hospital for a month and was diagnosed with PSC (the same condition that Kieron Dyer has) and now requires a liver transplant. She also went completely deaf and lost all of her balance, meaning we had a three month rehabilitation where she had to learn to walk again. I missed a season ticket payment due to my mind being elsewhere and the club took that as me not wanting to keep my season ticket and took away my loyalty points, so I lost the lot. I haven’t been able to get a season ticket back since. I was banned off this forum between 2008(ish) and 2024 because someone who was banned guessed my password and started posting as me. Thankfully I’ve been allowed back recently as I really enjoy this place. Is that sufficient enough reason?

Wouldn’t mind Gabri Veiga like.
-
Can’t believe he scored against Hull though.

A quick google says that a “grade 3” turf toe is quite common in professional sportsmen and the average recovery time is 16 weeks, so would seem to correlate.

£5m for Krafth who has played 1.5 games in two years and is out of contract in 4 months
-
Excellent news, can spend a couple of hours in the pub for the 3pm games before retiring home to the sofa with a takeaway and the match in front of the fire. Stuff of dreams.
-
As much as I want Liverpool to go out, it would be typical of NUFC to have been 1 minute away from only needing to beat Boro and Fulham to win a cup
-
Fulham winning at Anfield. Here we go

Gut feeling is what they’ll want to do is something along these lines in the summer: Released end of contract: Ritchie, Dummett, Karius or Gillespie, Manquillo New contract: Lascelles (2 years), Krafth (1 year), Karius or Gillespie (1 year) Attempt to get off the books by any means possible: Hayden, Hendrick, Fraser, Lewis Sell if a decent offer comes in: Miggy, Murphy, Longstaff, Targett Sign: Hall, Phillips (if been here on loan and fee is reasonable), go big on a RW and a CB. Loan: Young and promising striker, go big on Wilson replacement in 2025.
