At the end of the day, he's one player. A bloody good player, but he has his weaknesses, and if he doesn't want to be here, we're better off without. This whole saga is just fucking boring me now. If he stays, I'm sure Howe will integrate him back into the squad and he'll perform well. If he goes, we get a load of money for him and we have generally spent money very very well in the last few years since the takeover. Spend the money we get for him and move on

Got to say, I've warmed to this signing. Didn't realise he was in the PL team of the season a couple of years ago, and playing as a keeper for that shit Southampton side is a hiding to nothing. Seems a good lad too from his interview, and knowing all the coaching staff can only be a good thing for settling him in
-
I'm sure this plays a part as well!
-
I said it a few pages back, but it doesn't seem to have been mentioned much when people are considering what his decision will be - The Athletic article this morning said that Sesko and his entourage are really meticulous in planning his career moves and making sure it's best for his development. That surely has to be in our favour (if true)
-
There was a piece in The Athletic this morning and in it was a little snippet that Sesko and his team are very strategic and thoughtful about his career moves. Gave me a bit of hope that it would increase our chances of signing him, because who in their right mind currently sees Man Utd as a good career move
-
Is he even allowed to move again if he only officially joined Wolves permanently in June/July?
-
You'd imagine if they've gone in at that price that the actual price they're willing to sell for will be well below the £75m or whatever it was that was being quoted 6 months ago. Unless they're following the Newcastle transfer playbook of making initial offers that are miles below valuation
-
Not that bothered on missing out on this guy. Him and his agent are clearly twats who would be itching for another move in 1 or 2 years time
-
For that price we should absolutely be in for Dibling, would be a Hall/Livramento type signing where we don't necessarily need him now, but would be a great investment. That highlight reel is pretty impressive for an 18/19 year old in the Premier League. Was worried a little about his end product given his stats last season, but he's playing some lovely crosses and through balls in those clips, the problem was he was playing for one of the worst PL teams of all time
-
One didn't lead to a goal, he got caught fannying around in possession but a defender blocked the shot that was going into an empty net. The other one he was playing for Arsenal so must have actually been before 2025 - he dallied on the ball, tried to pass it out and Wissa blocked it and it went in. Tbf they were no worse than a couple of clangers Pope has dropped in the last couple of years, they just stood out when I was watching the vid
-
Watched a 2025 compilation of Wissa today, and it featured 2 massive fuck ups by Ramsdale. Didn't fill me with a great deal of confidence
-
I played against him in a Dads vs Lads game when I was about 14 and he was playing for Leicester and he was bloody awful. Like genuinely bad
-
I played with his son and played against him in a Dads vs Lads game when I was about 14 and he was playing for Leicester and he was bloody awful. Like genuinely bad. His son was rubbish as well
-
I think Wissa comes in regardless of Sesko to be the Wilson replacement
-
Because we theoretically paid £20m for him and no fucker in their right mind will give us anywhere near that much for him, we're just going to be trying to loan him out every season until his contract expires or someone gives us a few million for him in a couple of years time
-
Don't forget the bit about the carpet and the media desks
-
"Ukraine international winger" who actually is a goalkeeper. For that reason alone I'm going to say this is bullshit
-
I reckon Jackson would work for us, he's a good player and would fit our style. Just not for the £80m or whatever it is Chelsea want, which is mad
-
Yeah this would tip me over the edge
-
Has a transfer window ever promised so much and delivered so little? Struggling to think of one
-
Very unsettling for a multi-millionaire that he might have to move 10 miles up the road to another massive house. Better move to Madrid or Paris instead. What a load of shite man
-
By all means ask/demand for what you think you're worth, but continue to do your actual fucking job that you're paid handsomely to do in the meantime. Refusing to fucking travel with your team mates and do your job because you fancy a change of scenery is fucking ridiculous man. And we don't have infinite funds for wages, far from it, there's a wage structure that he agreed to be part of
