Slightly concerned that we're going to run him into the ground again by playing him every single game due to the lack of adequate quality to replace him at right back. We really need better back-up options in both full-back positions in January

This massive bastard is scoring 2 tonight

I think people are overestimating them currently, they're 16th in the expected points table (second biggest overachievers after Villa based on xG) and have won a lot of points from late goals/goalkeeper fuck ups in tight games. The derby will be a tough game, but we're a better team than them
-
This has the potential to be a very open and high scoring game given they've got that mad cunt de Zerbi in charge. I fancy us to score a couple
-
I can't quite believe that he's this good. I'm half expecting him to completely fuck up at some point given the reports from Milan, but he just delivers outstanding performances pretty much every week
-
The second one was weird, as there looked to be no contact at all yet Burn threw his head up as if he'd completely fucked up and committed a clear foul
-
Maybe I should watch it again
-
Only seen the one replay from behind the goal, but contact like that in the box is a clear penalty imo
-
Tbf Burn should have been sent off and conceded a penalty, it was just for the wrong incident

100% agree with this, our high press has been pretty much non-existent this season other than the odd game here or there. Presumably it's a deliberate tactic to try and negotiate 3 games per week, but we're a much worse team when we sit back and don't play with high intensity. I thought the signings we made this summer to strengthen the squad would allow us to rotate more and employ the high press in most games, but that intensity is just completely lacking right now

We don't seem to be using his strengths at all. His clips for Stuttgart all seemed to be him pulling into wide areas and creating from there, or playing off another striker and linking up with him. We just struggle to involve him much in the game, and we need to get him on the ball as much as possible as he is one of the few players we have who has a bit of creativity in the final third

They put his leg back on the wrong way round. Same surgeon who did Hatem's leg

That's where the away end used to be before the stadium was expanded
-
This is nailed on to be the usual cycle of everyone hating it when it's leaked and then everyone ends up liking it once they see the players wearing it
-
Aye, I reckon we'll come flying out of the traps for this
-
Yep, PL atmospheres have been generally getting worse for years, probably not surprising given the increase in tourists going to games and the average age of matchgoers increasing. It's become unaffordable for young radgies and that situation is only going to get worse
-
We're shorter odds than Man City are to beat Dortmund. Same odds as Villareal to beat Pafos and Chelsea to beat Qarabag (both away like, but still, seem pretty dead certs to win those games)
-
I bet none of them can resist Sandro, and I wouldn't blame them

More STIs from the lads shagging about in the Vermont?

I'd imagine the first thing to consider and/or discuss when loaning a player is whether they're going to play or not. Seems that we fall at this first hurdle quite often. We need to start getting this right too, otherwise young players coming here are going to look at how other players have progressed (or rather not) when going out on loan and go elsewhere

Making a fast start is absolutely crucial in these games. Press high, hopefully get an early goal and they could crumble. Start slow and they'll gradually get more and more belief as the game goes on, and the crowd will start getting into it too
