I’d imagine a large part of the crowd would just be going for the venue rather than the event without really being interested in the women’s game. It’s a chance for people to take kids etc who can’t usually, and it’s a relatively low stakes game compared to a nufc game where people are on the drink etc. I’ll probably first take my son to one of these so if he’s not into it and wants to go home I’m not that bothered.
