We are knocking on the door. When we blew the league I just thought we will win it next season, to be fair I was only 13. When I went to Wembley in 98 I wasn’t all that gutted as first time at a final, thought the chances would come round again quickly and it did, was more gutted year after due to opposition and probably worse performance. By the time of the Chelsea and Man U semis I was already soured, and 23 was also hideous. But if I look objectively we surely are going to win one soon and I’d wager being there for that would eclipse something bigger down the road.

Winning in a second season would be considered a bare minimum at Celtic to be fair, not sure about the other clubs positions in food chain but when i lived in oz Melbourne victory were one of the ‘bigger’ sides although it seemed a lot more random then.
