Think we did miss some of Santon's attacking play last night. Those driving runs help put the opposition on the back foot. Feel sorry for Santon. Seemed a bit burnt out before the injury and having something of a crisis of confidence, which is to be expected of a 21/22 year old who has made a couple of defensive errors.

I did like that before the Santon injury Pardew started him up top with Cisse and Sissoko deeper in midfield as many had been asking to see. Showed that he maybe knows Gouffran is best suited pushed further forward, plus it showed we were doing for it against Fulham and that he's not totally against playing Sissoko from a deeper position.
