They are obviously trying to ensure our 3 don't dominate midfield by playing 5 predominantly central players.
-
Ugh green kit already. Surely the home kit would make more sense being predominantly white with black shorts against their kit.
-
Look at those two mullet cunts trying to get on camera constantly on the tnt coverage.
-
Guess Isak managed to skive off all media duties aswell. Another breach of contract

We play Villa tomorrow. It doesn't take a genius to work out why this one might not get announced until after we play the team that just sold him.
-
Not a chance Villa let this go through before he the cut off to play tomorrow. So we had all week to get it done before the next game. He'll be in for Liverpool though.
-
Another reason why having 5 fucking subs only benefits the big teams with deep squads. Liverpool were blowing out their arse 2nd half but look at the depth they are allowed to bring on compared to what Bournemouth had available.
-
What's up with Gravenberch? He is the most important midfielder in terms of covering all their players that bomb forward. Hopefully he's still missing next week. They definitely look vulnerable in defence as suspected. Just have to make sure we don't leave our slow defence exposed to the counter and we can dominate the midfield and flanks.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

Adams was a disgrace for that goal however. Just stopped and watched instead of putting any pressure on. -
Guessand is the wild card I suppose. We will have background on how they set up with all their other players but be interesting if he starts and where as he will be a bit more of an unknown quantity.

Would hint to me that we are paying closer to £40m maybe. But then again Outtara is alot younger isn't he? so perhaps paying more for age and potential.
-
Does make me feel that players will come and go, but if we were to lose Eddie, it would be 10x worse than any player. As long as he's here and not completely handcuffed, we will always have a decent side. He's a generational manager and far more important to the club than Isak or any other player ever will be.

It is starting to be pretty universal across the board now. Even the ones that want to defend his position and in their nature dislike Newcastle are all struggling to defend the indefensible. You can bitch and moan and tell your club you want to leave but the one thing you don't do is refuse to do what you are being paid for. By all means frown and don't celebrate goals or whatever you want but if we pay you and you have a contract just fucking get on with it you self entitled prick.
-
Weird though. If I'm Ouatarra then I think I'd much rather be at Bournemouth than this current version of Brentford. Unless he really is frustrated by lack of playing time.
-
Had an irrational dislike for them in recent years especially as we are both going toe to toe for 4th/5th etc. But I think with the goings on this summer I have mellowed on them and remembered they are in a similar boat as us. Will likely all change after Saturday again when their players start diving around like usual and Emery does his histrionics on the touch line.
-
How many is that now? Strange behaviour.
-
I'm sure the scouts will be aware of him. They must have seen something that has persuaded them not to bid. We have pretty much gone after everyone else this summer so if they wanted him I'm sure we would have gone in.
-
Yeah I would find it incredible if he was willing to follow through with refusing to train and play once the window shuts. I think it's a last throw of the dice to force it but if we don't get the replacement which is looking like almost a certainty now, then he won't go. It's odd that he's going this nuclear against us considering the platform and love he received here to grow. Yes there is some bad blood regarding his contract situation, but it seems like he and his agent have been unwilling to negotiate with us to find a middle ground and is just refusing to consider the new contract now as an option.
-
Yeah not a chance he plays against them and that's fair enough. I would want us to do the same if we were selling a player. ...watch Isak now get registered in time to face us for Liverpool
