Couldn't possibly be more different. Trump fans are (by definition) idiots. People who support NUFC and are also able to distinguish a 'win' from a 'loss' - are uniquely talanted! You must see the similarities though. With all their legal failures they would claim it was all part of the plan and Trump was playing "4d chess" etc. This may well turn out successful for us fingers crossed. But to claim every little thing they do is going exactly to plan, I feel is naive. Clearly the intention would have been to oust this guy and replace with someone else, but if losing this was a plan B then hopefully that works out aswell.

Yeah mentioned it the other day. But claiming every negative is a secret "we lost on purpose" is very similar to the Trump fans with his election bullshit. I ask honestly as I know nothing about legal arbitration etc. Isn't it almost like a jury where both sides will present their arguments then these 3 selected people will rule on it. But like a juror who could be a closet racist sending an innocent black man to jail for example. Can't really be proven without evidence against them, and whatever we have we obviously used in this case to have him removed and failed. Matt Slater said and I quote "these guys get very annoyed when people suggest they'll be prejudice or anything other than professional, fair and wise when they properly consider the facts of the case". So isn't that what we have just done? If he wasn't biased against us before, you can be sure he will be now

It is neither positive or negative. Losing out on the removal of the chair isn't great but just because they suspect he may be unconsciously biased doesn't mean he will be and he isn't allowed to let the clubs request to remove him prejudice the hearing. Losing out on the whole case bring public is just meh. That wouldn't influence the panels decision imo. The only relevant news is we now know for definite the the panel for the arbitration is finalised and it will now begin at the behest of the club (based on whether we chose to appeal today's news/decision). We also know the arbitration is for the sale of the club and not compensation and that PIF, PCP and Reubens are all still on board. It's more of a state of play than a good/bad news update. Only my opinion like. How can this be proven? Appreciate positive spins being applied to this. However bit concerning that this was the first step for our highly esteemed legal team to flex their muscle and it looks like they failed. Sounds abit QAnon to start saying it doesn't matter as they just wanted to get the bias out in public. I don't think they would have done this if then didn't intend to win the case but they haven't, they've lost. So were essentially right up against it now when the arbitration starts. The positive is that this is clearly still going on in the background of course but with relegation looming its not as exciting as it could have been. Seems abit irrelevant now

If Luke wanted to face turn, all he'd need to do is reveal it was in fact Bruce who leaked the Darlow dropping and then Steve would have to resign as he said himself. Except for he'd probably Trump his way out of even that.

On the one hand this is massive as it proves all the doubters wrong that Ashley and all involved are clearly still pushing for this to go through. On the other, it sounds like we are fucked and there is far to many hurdles and corruption to overcome and it's going to be a waste of everyone's time. Especially as we're going to be relegated now anyway which means most likely it was all for nothing anyway

Seems scandalous that Fulham are still below us despite trying so hard to play decent football this season. But they can't seem to get the results they deserve. Shocking if we can't stay up with such a low points tally needed. But Bruce will somehow find a way.

Thinking about it. It should be piss easy to stay up this season. There's so much crap and Fulham, Sheffield Utd and west brom are doing their best to make it as easy as possible for us. Even Brighton and Burnley are still down here. Literally just need a few wins and that's it you stay up. But even that seems far beyond our ability with Bruce at the helm.

Agreed. We are going down even if Bruce left today unfortunately. As has been said he also gets to play Trump even more if he's sacked now and will pretend we would have stayed up under him and it was the injuries that cost him. ?

It is depressing to think if it had gone through when it was supposed to then non of this would have happened. Now we've had to live through another season of Bruce and a near certain 3rd Relegation under Ashley. The depths of how far we can fall are genuinely scary and I fear for the long term future of this club. Unfortunately I wonder if the only way to not let it get you down is to detach completely. Easier for some to do than others. I said I was done with it all after the takeover was blocked but the flicker of hope has kept me watching this shit for months when I probably didn't need to.

We probably win the game today if ASM and Almiron don't get injuried. Without them, Wilson, Manquillo and Schar we are completely fucked now. Typical had to be 5 of our best players that are now injured but that's just how it goes. It's another reason why I hate how when he's compared to Rafa, it's never mentioned how good Rafa's injury record is and how his tes get stronger and fitter as season goes on. Compare that to us now where ayers drop like flies and we look knackered after 60 mins.

So any word on the injuries? ASM looks fucked and Almiron would have carried on 2nd half if it wasn't potentially a bad one for his knee?

Feel like I say this every game but Lewis really is a massive problem. Defensively atrocious especially for their goal and general play is so restricting. Constantly passing back instead of something positive. Possibly part of why Saint maximin isn't in the game much at all. For all Richie's lack of pace I think he has to play instead. At least he can cross a ball and hit one in anger.

Oh god. If he's out for while with possible knee injury then we can give up any hope of staying up if there was any.

Mike Dean can't wait to get his red card out for something. Hope we're not on the end of one of his attention grabbing decisions. Hope we ain't run out of steam. Need to score when maxi has his flourishes as I fear he will burn out early 2nd half.
