Plus the partnership of Isak and Murphy has been our most fruitful source of goals this season so I'm not terribly keen to break that up unless either is injured or needs a rest.

Tomorrow is massive. It's an "expected" win, but we have to be professional and treat it with respect and do the job. Then a decent gap to Man U who looked bang average today and have a game on Thursday in between so great chance for another win.
-
Annoyingly, can see Liverpool losing more games now before the end of the season when they play any of our top 5 rivals.
-
Buzzing to see this team playing football again.
-
Based off the scenes the world saw yesterday, players who aren't already at established "elite" clubs, should be bending over backwards begging to join this project.

I know it seems wrong and bitter to feel this way after all the enjoyment we just had of winning something finally. But I really don't want Villa winning the fa cup. They really feel like our closest rivals now and seem to have been linked to us. Getting Emery after we tried to get him, getting Adidas deal straight after we did, getting champions league the season after we did, having an easier format to progress and get more money. Having a far better and stronger PSR starting point than we did post takeover. Getting large fees for their players etc etc. Ideally we really need to finish ahead of them and Chelsea and ensure we get that last champions league place if we want to compete properly next year.

Ok stop now, they would have been better just playing the recording.

Yes sax solo. everytime I think I want it to end I'm eating my words .

Didn't the bus arrive ages ago?
-
These bands never played infront of crowds this large. Probably shitting themselves
-
as if they weren't gonna do the bus route originally. These are historic memories for many, look at all them kids, securing future adoring fans for life.

I hope the camera's catch his reaction when he first see's that

Christ, he's at it again today with his personal pr machine talksport. "Half the stuff he's said is exaggerated and the other half is lies" Why would Dwight Gayle lie. He's making out like he's set out on some sort of hit piece dedicated to Steve Bruce. Wasn't this just a tiny clip of a question he was asked amongst a long podcast about many other topics. I bet Dwight Gayle doesn't give two fucks about Steve Bruce and just answered a question honestly and now he's being laid into by Bruce's buddies. Bet he wishes he'd just passed on the question now. Nothing screams the truth more than when a guy bites back as heavily as Bruce is over this.

Gabby is one of those people that pronounce England as "EnGERland". Always irritates me Seems talksport have gone all out today, counted 3 video thumbnails on youtube defending their little buddy. Not that i'll be watching any of them, but it's so obvious what they are doing as it was his entire time here. Think that's what grates the most, we could all see with our own eyes how awful he was as a manager, as we did before with Pardew. But to be gaslit constantly and be told we're wrong and he's a great guy and "one of the best mangers of all time" or some shite that Arteta came out with after he was so horrifically let go with a £8m pay out while he'd overseen us sat 19th in the Premier League table with just three points and no wins. Meanwhile we have had Eddie Howe getting called a "gate keeper" and loads of media were questioning his future during that horrific injury crisis last season while he's overseen keeping us up and finishing 11 despite Bruce's awful start in year 1, a cup final and champions league finish in year 2, 7th despite the horrendous injuries and suspensions and 2 decent cup runs in year 3 and a first domestic trophy in 70 years and a chance to qualify CL in year 4. Make it make sense.

Just as long as they don't get mega money back for him. It's about time these "big" clubs actually take hits on some of the awful big money signings they have made and suffer consequences. If we had wasted £90m or whatever it was on Nunez we'd be fucked due to PSR. But when our Saudi buddies are coming along and paying over the odds for big name clubs cast offs, they will always be able to reinvest comfortably.
-
Yeah there's no need to tarnish the whole thing as Saudi sports washing. Literally makes reference to it in every square. But media will do what they do, doesn't sour my experience.
-
Talk about a downgrade. I like Guehi but he's a completely different bracket to VVD.
-
Don't see how it's even up for debate. We don't need to go for "easier cups" now that we have broken that hoodoo. Get in the champions league and it opens up the opportunity to get Tonali, Isak level players again, plus keeping the ones we have. All the while building the revenue streams and growing the global reputation. In no way will I be gutted if we miss out. But being greedy, I want the boys to go all out in this last ten as we have a great chance of securing top 5 again.
-
Saw other teams fans describing him as "hateful" I'm sorry but other than pathetic tribalistic, 'hate everything that isn't my team' mentality, how is he hateful? I know I can't look at this as a neutral but if I was to compare him to pretty much every manager out there he is the most calm inoffensive respectful guy in the league. Just don't get how anyone could hate him but I guess I might have answered my own question.

Just need to navigate this Brentford game. Make sure it's not a after the lord mayors show scenario. Got a few that might have picked up a few knocks, plus the Gordon suspension and existing injuries. International boys flying off around the world. But the stadium has to be bouncing surely, how could it not be? So the players hopefully will feel ten feet tall and play with no pressure or shackles and hopefully that will overwhelm Brentford despite their strong away form going into this. I think most won't be too bothered if we didn't win as we would have sold our souls for what happened today. But win this and we can set up a cherry on top of this season and finish top 5.
-
I mean the way he's played lately I was pleased he didn't come on. However chuffed he got to be a part of this moment and he played a role in the run up to the final so he's still majorly involved.

There were some soft calls in there for sure for them. But glad he kept his cards in his pocket for the most part. Plus there are plenty of refs and Var that would have given Liverpool a pen for that handball. It was a nice change to have some common sense.
