Had pretty much the exact same .

There’s a premium on PL players because there’s less risk associated. Buying a high-performing player (at the right age) from your own league almost guarantees the success of that transfer. Not to mention the bedding in period needed for players from other leagues. A good transfer policy should have a mix of both PL and other league transfer targets. I would say though, you’re getting less value from the continent these days too. Nunez, Antony and Scammaca went for 80, 80 and 35m respectively so it’s not as cut and dry as you’re making out.

He let his emotions get the best of him. Let’s not overreact here by vilifying him and derailing the good feeling in the camp; a young lad was upset at being subbed off. He’ll be cautioned internally and that’s it. Move on.

Reminds me of prime Nwankwo Kanu. Kid is something special.

Great win, that. 5 wins on the bounce is some going.
-
Bruno crying at the end there, injured?
-
Phew… take those 3 points all day.
-
Looks like we’re just hanging on. Can’t keep the ball.
-
Fuck what save.
-
Yeesh don’t give set pieces away there…
-
That was on the shoulder. They were desperate to rule that out.

Ruled out.
-
Fuck.

Maybe, 3…

3!!!

Ahhh should’ve been 3!

So to summarize lads: Trippier, Zinchenko and Russia = good. Ukraine not good.

He was so shit before it made me dislike him as a person. With him playing so well I can actually see what a little sweetheart he is. Such a canny lad and really does give everything for the cause.
-
He was sensational last night. Best Rb I’ve ever seen play for us and, I mean, it’s not even close.
-
Could have had 5 assists in these last 2 games really.
-
Next 3 games are vital. I’m always quite negative but 2 wins in our next 3 and it’s ours to lose going forward (if it isn’t already). Brentford, Villa and Tottenham are tough, tough fixtures back-to-back.

At least I can stop worrying about Chelsea sneaking the Champion’s League now. What a mad appointment .
-
Everton and West Ham going down would be magical.

You can tell he’s taking not being the main man personally, which is great. A great striker needs a great ego and you can see how hungry he is now. Seems like he needs something to drive him on; previously it was making the World Cup and now it’s keeping hold of the number 9 shirt. Amazing to have 2 fantastic goal scorers in the team.

Joelinton!!! What a game!!
