That's not the way I see the deal. If we play him just 24 games we can send him packing, if we want, or play him the full 25+ and he's ours automatically...with a fee of course. As this seems officially the deal then I'd presume the contract with the player would take this into account? I may be wrong but is seem like an excellent piece of business on our behalf.

Us CH's think alike - I recognised the place we needed to strengthen first was midfield, as did Hughton. We have signed two quality players in this department and gained depth for our stronger areas. The mixture of old and young is nicely balanced and we can play with plenty of width, discipline and spirit. Mag-nifique!
