Considering he recently said that he'd like to spend the rest of his career here, i'd have to agree. Unless of course he is ambitious enough to want to win some trophies during his career, in which case I couldn't really blame him for leaving. Id hate to see him at Liverpool, but id also find it hard to have any real hatred or bad feeling towards any of the players who stayed after relegation and put in the performances to get us back up.

...... on his all too infrequent days maybe. I'd still rather have honest pros playing for us and Ranger has the potential to be a better player than Martins. That said I wouldn't bet against him notching tomorrow because we've just seen it so many times before. And if our fans boo every time he touches the ball it will double the likelihood of him scoring..... show him some love and maybe he will have a off day

What on earth does any of that have to do with NUFC charging for season tickets to watch English Premierleague matches in one of Europe's premiere stadiums? I'm saying that English fans pay 3x more compared to our European counterparts in Germany and more teams should look at cutting ticket prices to increase attendances. Germany has the highest average attendance in Europe beating the EPL by 7,000 each game. Though this is a topic for another thread. i honestly dont think the likes of wigan and blackburn would fill there stadiums if tickets were a tenner, Maybe attendances would go up for a while if it happened but once the novelty wore off it would be about the same.

there was 2 lots of people left when the 4th went in sat near me, and they all came back after about 10mins, id imagine a fair few people got as far as the door and cooled off a bit. What shocked me more was there were people leaving as the added on time board went up in the 2nd half, how the fuck could you not want to see that match to the end. only ever left early once and that was at old trafford when they beat us 6-0, left as ferdinand scored the 4th in 85th min, but to be fair i had just proposed to my misses at the hotel then took off to the match!

love it that its bothering them so much, also funny the ones that are not showing its bothering them are using the "at least man u and chelsea got beat" line, you thick fucks that makes it worse Barton was class, late 1st half i had a feeling he was going to lose the plot and do something stupid, but he didnt and 2nd half changed the game and got us all and himself back in love with the club after a horrible week.

will renew whatever always have always will, anyone jacking there ticket in can only be doing it on the back of Carroll sale, come on we have seen some great games this season, 6-0,5-1,5-0,4-4, beating liverpool, holding chelsea, yes there has been some shit in between all that but if we lose every game from now till the season end il still feel it was money well spent.

there will for sure be bids for him in the summer, we have shown we are willing to sell our best players if the price is right. just hope he grows close to the club and at least stays another season.

not sure if its posted in any of the threads but quite sure Pardew said on radio last night that we need to get financially stable and stay in the premiership so we never again have to sell our best player, seemed a bit of a odd one with all thats been said about AC not being forced out
