About the dribbling technique thing, I think it looks fine but as he's quite tall and lanky perhaps this affects the way it comes across? Anyway, very impressed with Jonas so far - sounds like a sound lad and works hard but has that bit of guile about him as well. Look forward to seeing him contribute this season.

I think everything's done and dusted, we just haven't gone public with it yet. Would suggest we're waiting on something ie at today's game or with another signing.

Wouldn't be totally opposed to having him as a 4/5th choice striker - he's better than Smith and Ameobi and wouldn't cost nearly as much.

Pants. Hasn't shown enough going forward for me and puts his defensive skills - which are solid when he doesn't overdo things - to alot less use. He's got good acceleration but doesn't have the pace of Zog or Jonas and from what I've seen is no better when crossing.

I'm not doubting his ability as a player here but as an Enrique fan I can see him shunting Jose to one side which will do little to develop a game that could really come good with more experience. Not disputing the fact that cover is needed for LB but not to the point where Enrique becomes the cover - he's good enough and we could put some of this money elsewhere into a top class playmaker for example. Good to see us looking at players of Taiwo's quality but perhaps not at the expense of the growth of Jose Enrique? I don't know though, perhaps the competition will draw out his best. Guess we'll wait and see.
