He's certainly better than Geremi with alot of potential still there. Would be well suited to our 433 as well, perhaps more so than Milner imo.

McFadden could be argued I guess but Zarate was only on for 10 mins and did fuck all bar shooting into row z. Nonetheless Larsson was very much Brum's creative spark in midfield and they didn't look the same when he came off.

One key point I think some are missing out on is that we have Emre. The guy has cult status in Turkey or in Gala at least where Turan is based. Emre could be used to our advantage in a swap deal as he's in demand or as a pulling factor in that Turan has a possible idol and fellow countryman at the club. So because of this we certainly have the upper hand in this particular deal over the likes of Everton and Blackburn.

Yeah, he was linked with Arsenal about 2 months back as a replacement for Flamini. Looks like they're splashing out on Yaya Toure instead. I heard they're very close to signing a guy called Chantome from PSG, about 20 I think as a repalcement for Flamini.
