Positive Optimism - Saudi Takeover Edition

I think it's a serious dent to our takeover chances. Either the takeover is off or Rafa has been told it won't happen until sometime after the season has started -
He's got the heart of a lion and the legs of a plow horse. I will always have fond memories of him but let him go.

I also like that they pointed out that the club ignores its supporters too, with proof.

I wouldn't want to join any clique that would have me as a member

Fascinating article. I still know nothing about the man that I couldn't have already surmised and that is what makes the article so fascinating.

As a seasoned twitter lawyer,????? Sounds like he's having a go. -
bullshit decision. There had to be some non monetary penalty...points deduction, transfer embargo. The penalty was never going to be massive but it had to be enough to be a deterrent. 3.5M is not a deterrent.

"Monitoring" is such a significant part of the process as we know.

I'd like to see Charnley be stripped nekkid, thrown into a wheelie bin full of rancid ice water and rolled onto a busy road. -
Doesn't Brewcey walk his dog around the training pitch? Charnley picks up the doodoo

My opinion of Keith is pretty simple: He's done a stand up job getting things done from a fan's perspective but as a quasi-official spokesperson for the hhe has slowly started to unravel. I would have hoped (expected) that someone in his position would be more reserved. Instead, as the months have rolled on, he's more likely to sling shite at those who disagreed with him as opposed to reasoned responses or not responding at all. Right now, IMO, he's no different that a whole bunch of twitter twats. His ideal would have been to rise above the fray...he hasn't

Bruce and Everton are a match made in heaven

I seem to remember that when the PL offered arbitration last summer Stavely complained that the PL would only offer arb on each point of contention rather than an all-inclusive hearing which, in itself, was a stall tactic by the PL. If my memory serves me, that is when PIF publicly "withdrew". PIF knew at that point that the PL wanted to drag it out as long as possible.

Arteta won't make it to January anyway.
