If we're committing to 3 man defense I think keeping him is a no-brainer. If we're going 4 man, less so. Despite positioning and reading the game his poor foot speed will be exposed as 1 of 2 CB.

I'm sure BeIn's position was "Why should we pay for the rights again if you are allowing the country who looks the other way, re: piracy, to buy a club?" What if no one else was able to pony up 500M? This all goes back to separating the PIF from KSA though. -
It'll be interesting to watch if Poch comes back. I did think things got stale before he departed. Perhaps he'll come back with a fresh outlook. If Kane goes they could do a rebuild on the fly in what might be a soft transfer market.

What does Alex have to say about that?

Jones brought a willingness to change. Change formation, change philosophy. Brewce was stuck in a rut he couldn't get out of. He was more adept at making excuses than he was at implementing change, any change. Jones is no tactical genius but he had the guts to push ahead of Brewce and do something.

Ah that's beautiful. Another factoid to tweak Brewce's insecurity.

so the tweet that everyone is referencing, how do we know that went only to the big 6? How do we know it wasn't sent to everybody? -

Bein was in the process of renewing their contract for the EPL rights when the takeover started. Since BeoutQ originated in the KSA I think they had every right to bring it to EPL and ask that the piracy be resolved. -

BeIn held the rights and had a legit grievance with the piracy. End of. -
If Clark, Radgie, Gayle, as the over 30 group, get extensions why hasn't Murphy. He clearly has shown a usefulness to the club as much as the others.

He's a fireman. He'll be back, he likes to play with his hose.

I'd keep Woodman. If that means selling Dubs, then he gets sold. I don't think Darlow would be happy behind Woodman so he has to go too. With Ashley and Bruce back the remit will be survival and if Woodman's judged to be good enough to keep us up then he's the man. Might as well start clearing out and accumulating what ever funds we can to invest back into the squad with younger players.
-
Truth be told Palace would be smart to make a play for Brewcie. They could snatch a top 17 PL manager...
-
How we can extend some of the older set and not Murphy is beyond me.

Who cares about us? We have an owner who's a cunt.
