If Minteh has shown glimpses at Feyenoord that's a really good sign, a season working with Howe and the coaches on his consistency, end product, ball retention etc will be just what he needs. As he starts to improve on the key areas he'll doubtless get opportunities as an impact sub or in the cups.

Got to say there was a fuck load of the 30-minute pint brigade sat near me today. I can just about understand people going when the added time board goes up to try and get ahead of the queues but missing that much of the game seems mental to me. I've said it so many times but it's worth repeating. He sat on the bench while Bruce played Lascelles, Clark, Krafth and Fernandez in both pairings and 3-at-the-back combos fucking lunacy.

Please stay fit. He's absolutely vital, no coincidence today that we looked so much more in control with him in there. It helped that Bruno was class and Sean grew into the game and had a decent second half but his support of Burn defensively and quick release on the transition out to Gordon was superb today.

That save second half, I couldn't decide if it was one for the cameras or an excellent diving hold of a chance that I thought was going in. He's had a great week, hope he keeps it up.

Thought he was very good today, used the ball well, dangerous cross that led to the second goal, tracked back well. Just needs to try and be a bit more consistent, seems as though one week he'll be crap and the next excellent, but he's a very useful option to have.
