Another goal today for Joe White at MK Dons. Seems to be doing well there.

Given the age he's at, the next contract he signs will likely be the last decent length one. So I wouldn't be surprised if he sits tight til the summer when there'll be more options and likely more lucrative signing on fees knocking about. He's been a very good contributor to the club, particularly in the 4th place season and in scoring our first CL goal of the era, so I hope he gets a couple of nice cameos before the season is out and goes on his way, as we do need to get someone better.

Since he came in we've really tightened up the shots on target we've allowed: Leicester: 1 shot on target Brentford cup: 3 shots on target (1 goal) Ipswich: 2 shots on target Villa: 1 shot on target Man U: 1 shot on target We've only conceded 8 shots on target in 5 games. Take out the Wissa tap in for Brentford and that's 7 shots on target, of which I can only remember a good one on one save vs Brentford when he came rushing out being anything above what you'd call "routine" or certainly where if he lets it in we're calling it an error. Arguably the Smozdics one vs Ipswich is better than routine, actually, on reflection. His handling, work with his feet and general demeanour has been much better than some of the clown shoes showings from last season but let's not get too carried away with him just yet. The defence have been superb and have thankfully given him not too much work to do beyond the ordinary.

The one two with Bruno in the build up to the second goal, Casemiro may as well have been one of those training ground markers you play around. We look so fluid with him in there, the first time passes he plays and control of the tempo. He's showing his quality now.
