Sirens on the pass from Barnes there. To call that a hospital ball suggests it had any life in it at all.
-
Fucking shit. Shot ourselves in the foot and getting beat off yet another absolutely nowt special side. Not good enough
-
Great response, now let's not throw away this momentum.
-
That's weak as piss from Hall, fucking pathetic.
-
Oh good, more limp dick defending away from home! Close your eyes and pretend we're down the road at Arsenal lads and you might play a bit better.
-
I'd bring someone in for certain, he might be as good as any tbf. What we do at the moment isn't effective enough.
-
Plenty of exiles with cancelled trains and planes apparently. Worldwide mackems unable to get to the game with that, the kids footy, Nissan, the weather and the panto on at the Empire we should commend them for getting 17,000 there today.

The state of Patterson looks like he's wearing a girdle to keep his kite under wraps.
-
They'll still claim 42,500 or something the shameless cunts. Not surprised so many can't be arsed to turn up to that disgusting landfill to watch their shit heap side play.

McCoist just shows that energy, enthusiasm and positivity in your work can elevate it even if the content isn't anything special. See also: Wayne Mardle on the darts. The M.Smith/MVG "best leg ever" and Jose De Souza's 3 double tops are some of the best bits of commentary in recent times and it's just pure excitement, passion, joy and none of it scripted like that tit Drury on the football. They'll have their critics but give me someone like McCoist or Mardle any day ahead of an attention seeker like Drury or half the dreary, whinging know-nowt summarisers they get on these days.

Hard to make a call on this, there's just varied stats/form all over the place. Brentford's home record this season is excellent But they've played largely bottom half sides Our record at Brentford in recent years is excellent But we've largely played poorly away from home this season We played brilliantly against Liverpool and playing like that we would wallop most sides in the league But we seem to have a tendency of upping the intensity against the "big" teams We do better against teams that attack and leave space than ones that camp in Brentford may do a bit of both depending on how the game goes Our last away game against Palace was one of the most insipid attacking showings in memory We can't be that bad going forward again surely after the Liverpool performance Brentford have conceded a boat load of goals We are only averaging just over a goal a game this season Mainly based on our record there I think we'll win 3-2.
-
Didn't appreciate what a howitzer the goal was until I saw it back as I was about two-thirds back in the Leaves where some thought Kelleher should have got to it
-
I never said he was a silver bullet, did I? He's clearly such a quality footballer though that he just needs to play and build everything around him, and Bruno. His inclusion should (and did tonight) help the others look better because a fit and comfortable Tonali will mean we keep the ball better and have more tempo in midfield.
-
We'll obviously miss an excellent defender and ball player when the moment comes that he's pensioned off, but I think we will miss his goals nearly as much. Class act.
-
I knew we'd up it tonight because we tend to for the bigger sides, but I didn't think we'd be as good as we were. Ridiculous how opposite it was to the Palace display. If we go to Brentford Saturday and roll over like a bunch of limp dicks, this result will be a lot less valuable. He needs to figure out how to replicate that kind of showing today more often. Hopefully he's learned that Tonali needs to play at least. Well done for tonight and a Premier League classic in terms of entertainment value, was great.
-
Thought he had a very good game but thought he looked absolutely shagged in the last 20 minutes or so, he could hardly run at times.
-
He was sensational tonight. Needs to be treated as an automatic starter like Bruno is, basically. Took the piss out of Gravenberch time and again. Sean will have his time and place but it should be him starting the Bromley cup game and giving Sandro a breather occasionally, and not the other way around. And I'm more positive about Sean than a lot are.
-
Feels like so much happened in that game it's hard to unpack you'd be hard pressed to create a short highlights reel. It was like the complete opposite of the Palace display, gutsy, positive, loads of quality and we can feel unlucky only to get a draw. Then again, we always seem to play canny and get edged out against Liverpool so got to be pleased with the point.
-
Back to best tonight. What a performance.
-
Tamworth v Tottenham a great tie too. Good draw that overall.
-
Hard to speak for them, but first year in the Football League and first time in the third round, you'd think they'd be delighted with the day trip & night out up here, the financial boost and not too concerned that they can concentrate on retaining that league status afterwards unless they pull off the dream upset. They should stay up IMO, Michael Cheek was a consistent Conference goal getter and he's continued that well in League 2.
-
Foden and Isak out, Saka and Cunha in. There's the two players to avoid.
-
Great draw for Bromley financially given it's their first year in the League, first time in the third round I think they said too.

Bromley home! Class Return for Andy Woodman.
